All possible with the top speed of the 811. For those who aren't aware, having a higher FPS boosts the top speed of certain cars, more FPS = more speed. He's looking down at the ground on the run in because it unloads the GPU and he can generate more frames. PC Master race! Although it's a glaring issue if your rig can't generate as many frames; luckily there's equalizers like catchup if necessary. Then again it seems that the 811 can outrun catchup on certain tracks...

Anyway, sick stunt and keep on sending it for the boys Gizmoo!

You have to break a little bit earlier with the 811, i just got a 0:56:620 on cutting coroners, couple 100th faster than the x80, acceleration is great, good buy!

That cutting corners is made by him and its actually "Cutting Coners GP" not the R* one.

 

If we shouldn't trust a guy who test all vehicles in the game fairly using a single track with statistic, I don't know who to trust or listen to. (For opinions with proof of course)

Because he uses the same track for all cars, he is trustworthy? He is a sh*tty driver, but wants to post his videos as soon as possible, thats all i am saying.

Broughy definitely knows what he's doing, this track is called "Cutting Coroners GP", and it's longer than the R* created track "Cutting Coroners".

Also, a 56.6 on cutting coroners is a horrible lap time.. I can do under 51 in my T20. (Have only done about 10 laps in the X80, best lap is 51.4 atm)

Looks like you're the one who "doesn't know his sh*t". You definitely can't say he's a "sh*tty driver", he would destroy you in a race lol

I'm really on the fence on this one... No real urge to buy it, but seeing some of these videos.. You can have alot of fun with them... But forking out 1.1mil + updatecosts for a car that doesn't

really grab me... I need expert advice... :-)

we will see when tarmac trials start again. this and the next 2 are offroad. but it's going to be very OP regardless and because its speed is very dependent on fps, i'm not going to submit 811 times. for that matter, i'm not going to submit 900r and slamvan times, too.

Impressive 'Nismo', now that is testing a car/track thoroughly

 

it's not thorough testing, it's exploiting everything that can be exploited to get the best time possible. broughy uses the same lines and the same techniques for all cars so everything is as fair as possible. you can go faster than what he got in his testing by hunting curbs and potholes but that would not be relevant. Nismo.'s video(which I mentioned ealier) has already been posted, proving that lap times way faster than 56.6 are easily possible...

 

Also as oleg pointed out broughy does not use all curbs to get the lowest lap time possible for his testing.

There is a very good reason for this: It adds extra variables to the lap time which make it less reliable, because curbs don't always give the same speed boost when you hit them. So broughy just drives the cars on the racing line to get the best time without using all curbs he can find. This gives the best idea of what a car is capable of. Around Cutting Coroners GP the infernus and cheetah are indeed capable of better lap times than the 811. (So someone can get better lap times than broughy does in his testing by using curbs, but this does not make the tests any less reliable)

 

Since you personally can't drive the cars close to their limits, it might be different for you. The slower you are as a driver, the more preference for different handling styles affects your lap times. Someone playing the game for the first time could easily be faster in a massacro than an Elegy around a track with lots of corners, just because they might find the massacro easier to drive, and in that case it's the best car for that player at that time. But if a player can push both cars to the limit, the Elegy will beat the Massacro around that same track.

I'm really liking this car. Took it to the airport to test it out, at first I couldn't control it at all in turns spun out every time but I put the second spoiler on and it handles much better. I like the look of the original spoiler better but o well.

So to get a more consistent (and therefore more reliable) he just uses the racing line without going out of his way to hit curbs. If he did go for every curb the lap times would be less reliable.

(Of course he does still hit a few bumps in the road, and a curb here and there that's on the racing line.)

People who race via job searching are also a part of the racing community and those lobbies tend to be "anything goes". In such situations, knowing the vehicles cabibilities when dealing with bumps/curbs makes all the difference. I'm not saying one "needs" to do that to win, but it is an important factor when discussing the performance of a vehicle.
