WildBrick142
i just reached a top speed in ! 190 mph Here's the proof. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=713331339 As other people have pointed out, the in-game speedometer cannot be relied on. It can only be used as a reference to the speedometers in other vehicles, it's not to be used as an indication of your current vehicle's speed in the game (good example was used above with the Truffade Z-Type). Actually, some speedometers lie, some speedometers say the truth. I checked it myself with a proper speedometer. Sedan Interior (Tailgater, Asea, Blista, etc.), "gentaxi" Interior (Taxi, Buffalo, Police Cruiser, etc.), SUV Interior (Cavalcade, Panto, etc.), "Banshee" Interior** (Banshee (NOT THE 900R!*), Vacca, X80 Proto, also includes the Comet-based interiors like Comet, T20, etc. have), Digital Interior (Trucks/Vans, Vindicator, etc.), Sports bike (Vader, etc.), and "Sultan" Interior (Sultan (NOT THE RS!*), Khamelion, Kuruma, etc.) are accurate and can be trusted. The rest can't be trusted. *The Interior types are not based on design, they're based on their dials. As you can see, Sultan RS and Banshee 900R have yellow dials instead of their original color. They're actually the "Dukes" dials found on muscle cars. That speedometer type is not accurate, so that's why they are not accurate like their stock counterparts. **FMJ is using the "Banshee" dials. FMJ also has it's new unique interior. Obvious mismatch, seeing the comarison between the speedometers is hilarious. Amy Vinewood

SowaEvo
Thought I would hop on here real quick at let you guys know - if the repeated suspension clunking when at speed is driving you crazy like it was with me, don't use the other spoiler. On a hunch I tried going back to the stock one after I noticed the stock version of the car in a race wasn't doing it, and voila, repeated clunking gone. You would probably lose the vehicle's ability to reach those high speeds in that case. Everyone should keep in mind that the 811 is currently bugged, making the top speed very high if you have higher fps, you should expect R* to fix this soon, just like they did with the Slamvan Custom, which was glitched in the same way. So testing it around a track, even at 60 fps, can lead to lap times that might not be possible after it gets fixed, due to the broken top speed. The Slamvan Custom's hotfix was removed though - at least on PC. I'm still able to surpass 170mph in the Slamvan Custom on PC with just the Engine upgraded to Level 4 and either of the rear spoilers. RSG didn't change the Banshee2's handling data despite them having the chance to (several game updates), so they're "using the rear suspension bounce/ knocking" as their way of giving the Banshee 900R the extra performance it should have (despite it causing some issues for some people in some corners). i just reached a top speed in ! 190 mph Here's the proof. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=713331339 As other people have pointed out, the in-game speedometer cannot be relied on. MechanicMammal
Taking everything into account I like this car. The good, Its top speed and acceleration are awesome, The looks for the most part are pretty good (ill elaborate more in a mo) love some touches like the exhaust position, It is pretty easy to drive I find it very stable, was having some racing success yesterday on certain tracks, like the Senaro Freeway point to point for example where I was leaving leaving Banshees, T20's and everything else in its dust. The Bad, The looks, again mostly I like them see above^ but the spoiler kind of spoils it for me I wish it did not start at the doors, Under steer, I said it was easy to drive but it does seem to suffer from under steer especially after driving the proto for the last week, Track specific for racing, does great on tracks with lots of high speed sections but will be left behind the top cars on a track with lots of corners due to the under steer, Verdict, A car which sits nicely next to my T20 and proto for racing, between the 3 cars I feel I have every racing situation and conditions covered, I would recommend one if you want the fastest straight line vehicle in the game or like the looks. Also just messing around with it yesterday with it it felt great on dirt road's it seemed very stable in rough conditions.

Dannehz
Okay so I contacted Rockstar about the badge glitch, they told me to send a video. I sent a video. They responded basically telling me that a portion of the vehicle doesn't become visible from the angle and distance I'm seeing it from, which isn't true. They just told me that they're sorry for any inconveniences. Hopefully they'll add the badge if enough people contact them. BBQ_Menace
I was very much looking forward to this car, we've needed a new Pfister for quite a while. Unfortunately the proportions seem off, it's too tall/narrow and it reminds me more of a Lotus Elise or the Voltic's bigger brother than the all-conquering Porsche 918. I figured it would grow on me if the performance made up for the looks but I was disappointed yet again with the weak engine sound, bad understeer and brakes which are frankly terrible. Sold it before I even took one picture of it. Live and learn I suppose. Good thing the X80 is so phenomenal I'll be able to keep smiling for weeks

I understand it can be used as a reference, any may even be somewhat accurate in certain vehicles, but back to the original point I made - they cannot be relied upon. The only reliable way of determining the speed a vehicle is currently travelling at in the game is to have an on-screen display that reports your entities' speed (in m/s, the game's default), and then converting that to your preference of km/h or mph. Speed/ Distance/ Time calculations are really only for set tracks or distances. Edited June 29, 2016 by Gaffa

Dat Saintsfan has been stealing ideas and content from the forum since 2013. I put him on blast via Twitter, he responds. After driving it all day yesterday and today, it's fun, glad I bought it.
