we know the explosive cannons are OP, everyone knows that! even the greatest griefer knows that. Apparently, if you don't own a jet, u don't know that.

20 second cooldowns for cannons? 10 min cooldowns for another one?

Yeah, jets sure aren't overpowered though. All you other jet pilots, congratulations - one of your own just lost the argument for you. If you want to know just how unbalanced the jet is, we now have a mathematical quantification.

See? Rockstar won't ever nerf the jets , there is a lot of contrast between forum members of whether it should be nerfed or not.

I will do a comparision of those who want the jet nerfed with who made the tank nerfed(since it is the main nerf jet whiners try to simulate)

In the first case, the jet whiners have opponent members who don't want it nerfed (or don't want to make it totally useless) who bring arguments about the jets being balanced.

In the second case, everyone wanted to nerf tanks, because it was truly OP and the need of skill was 0.

Kids could kill with the prenerf tanks, the same kids can't kill with jets, that's more enough of a reason to know that jets aren't this OP as some individuals, vainly, try to say.

Not at all. If the helicopter pilot knows what he or she is doing, then it is absolutely in the helicopter's favour.

 

I could get a pre-nerf tank every single time with my Buzzard. Regardless of who was driving. This was before Buzzards had homing missiles too.

 

It was fairly easy once you had the hang of it. Just stay way up high, hit them from where they can't aim.

I know a lot of you want R* to nerf jets but do you really think it will happen? I know they nerfed tanks but they didn't do anything related with explosives (which is what you guys complain), they just reduced its armor (which jets don't need a reduce). Also, I doubt that they will remove a jet ability from the game, even though some claim that is OP.

Why? You still have the high destroying power against aircraft/ helicopter/ ground vehicle, increase the skills required and no more spray and pray for the explosions do the jobs for you.

The best way to balance is by disabling jets when someones selling their crates. R* should consider this.

That's a horrible solution. It pisses me off enough when Hide Blip is disabled just because there's a King of the Castle or some sh*t happening on the other side of the map (and being ignored by everybody in the session).

This jet defenders are seriously jokes. I haven't seen one intelligent post from any of you on that side, and considering how many of you are on that side, it's pathetic. Every time one of your sh*tty "counters" gets proven to be useless, you just repeat the same thing again. "It worked for me you just be bad" it must be very nice to encounter garbage pilots all the time who can't evade the simplest of attacks and don't know how to divebomb. So your logic is because it has worked on the jets you've encountered it most work on all of them? Makes perfect f*cking sense, I've been on the wrong side the whole time!

 

Or in that other guys case, BEING the garbage pilot and staging a clip for your friend to kill you so you could come on here trying to boast that video as evidence that the jet is balanced. You guys had one video of "evidence" defending the jet and it got torn to shreds immediately. There are several videos of why all your counters don't work at all against decent pilots and you have yet to acknowledge them.

Haven't seen your dive bomb vid. But from my few encounters with dive bombers. I must agree that the grenade launcher is pretty much useless. But still may work if you have a friend to take the shot or be the target of the jet for you to take it

 

Also this is where getting under cover (preferably where the hydra can still get you) comes in handy. Cuse you could easily set up a trap this way (especially if in an insurgent) and hope the pilot wants to make sure you die

The problem is that things like that grenade launcher kill don't matter for the purposes of this conversation. At all. It's a gimmick kill. What percentage of the time will it work against a jet? What percentage of total jet deaths are from a grenade launcher?

 

Black swans are not a valid support point.

Well the problem is that most people online wont consider using anything but another jet or a homing Launcher to take out a jet. and the former being the only truely effective one of the two,

 

But compared to the homing (and the gems that decide to use the mingun) RPGs and Grenade Launcher are actually quite effective if you actually bothered to get your timing down and are a lot more economical
