Brickade Appreciation & Discussion

The brickade is so fun to drive! If you put the armor on it [290k in your large warehouse] It's black.

Pegasus vehicle, turning radius is not the best though. Can go into semi deep water, nothing above the windshield.

I tried buying the armor upgrade, it took my money, it said it was applied but it wasn't changing how the truck looked... went back and it wanted me to buy it again? Anyone else have this issue?

and how many rockets/C4 can it survive with armor upgrade?

That's actually a weak ass effort by R*... I suppose it will never actually get a proper armor upgrade then. I mean seriously, still waiting for the Sandking to get a heavier, more realistic weight along with the Guardian... R* has a serious issue with being unable to actually solve simple numerical issues

because it uses the upgraded Midnight Club LA driving physics which only has few heavy weight SUVs

and was only made for the vanilla version of MCLA which only had sports, supers, luxury, tuner and muscle cars

This one looks interesting, I suppose, but at this rate I have no incentive to stop using an insurgent

ah brickade comeback

from what i see in youtuber's video , brickade is shown able to resist direct hit from rockets

insurgent is still the king of resisting almost anything except bullets through the tiny windows

Check this out:

1. Insurgent is cheaper than this one

2. Insurgent eats more rocket/stickies

3. Insurgent is faster

4. The Pegasus version even has a turret on it

Brickade:

1. More expensive, needs separate armor upgrades which costs even more (it does nothing tho)

2. It can't hold any rocket/stickies at all and the window armor isn't any better

3. Slower (it's pretty fast for a truck but the non existent armor ruins it)

4. Doesn't matter if you call it from Pegasus or CEO, armor is the same

Brickade really needs a buff, at least the same armor value like the insurgent/ a turret on the roof. Just give us something on this thing we can work with.

I love it!

Nice to ram other cars.

Is it like the insurgent, can you store it in you're garage and also customize it?

Edit, just read the OP. :p

Final Quake

I f*cking hate this thing, so useless! They need to buff it. No idea, just can't understand why it;s tiures can be blown out and that the armour is super weak. WHY! JUST WHY! I had so much hope for this being amazing.

I bought it and made the both armor and BF upgrades from my warehouse.

But the one I called from pegasus still explodes with one sticky and tires still can be shot.

How can I get the BF and armored one? Can somebody please help.

I don't think you can upgrade the Brickade that you call from Pegasus. Only the warehouse Brickade's can be upgraded.

Thanks, then I think I can only use it when I sale my stuff from warehouse.

Pegasus one is just a closed trash truck then, good bye my 1.1 million :)

Honestly I hate this thing.

I drove it to sell cargo and it drives like a piece of crap.

I was expecting the brickade to be like the armoured kuruma with bullet proof Windows and a decent performance for its class. But turns out this isn't even armoured.

The blockade is a absolute beast at climbing even the steepest hills.

It can push around the insurgent like a Tonka toy as well.

Register as a CEO, then go your interaction menu, go to the Securoserv option, go to CEO Vehicles, and select Brickade. The upgraded variant will spawn.

So, questions:

What the hell is it supposed to be based on? LIke one of those crazy RV conversions of 10 wheeled trucks?

What the hell are the panels on the roof supposed to be? Solar panels (hence the RV question)?

What the hell is that noise it makes when you reverse?

Seems similar to mobile command centers used by police forces and FBI.

Panels do look like solar panels to power whatever nonexistent tech resides inside of the Brickade.

Reverse noise sounds like a hydraulic pressure release. Not sure why.

It should be:

-More tough than Insurgent.

-With more "downforce" in the front, created by its mass (c'mon, it is a truck).

-More stable on high speeds.

And players shouldn't be able to destroy it with Savage, P996 or Hydra. Even with missiles. Only Buzzard could use missiles against it. To counter, the players would be able to use only Buzzard to defend it too (besides thing like Insurgent, etc, but not Rhino!)

What the hell is that noise it makes when you reverseMAN TGS expedition truck

From a website, "This MAN TGS 6x6 Expedition Truck is a true Masterpiece combining serious Off-road capabilities and Autonomy with a Luxurious Interior stylishly furnished using American Walnut and Stucco Veneziano decorated walls." Furthermore, "800 Watt Solar panel system with MPPT charge controller." From here.

So yes, it is one of those crazy RVs, and that explains the solar panels perfectly. Not so much the bizarre reverse, but that's enough to satiate me for now.

How much does it cost to spawn if you dont own the pegasus one? (I dont have a large warehouse yet...)

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can't spawn it until you buy a large warehouse. I don't know if you need the Pegasus one to be able to spawn the CEO variant.
