Stock Car Races bug

After long wait new GTA V patch arrived today and i was really happy when i saw in changelog that they fixed Stock Car Racing bug that (Stock Care Racing not unlocking after Mr. Philips mission). I thought yes i can finally finish few remaining missions. But nope i started game and Stock Care Races are still not there

 

Does anybody have same issue? Did latest patch fixed it for you?

No, you're not alone. I pressed start after popping into SP and looked at where they are, but they aren't there. Maybe next update they'll actually fix it........ nah, if it's just lazy Lowriders part 4 probably not.

If you are having this bug it is able to be fixed. I just ran into this bug and after two attempts by Rockstar support this bug was fixed on my game and the stock car races returned.

Here is what support said.....

"We would like to inform you that, we have made some necessary changes to your account and request you try to access the returning player contents. If you are still facing issues, try to unlink the Xbox gamertag and relink it again."

Now with that being said I did have to play a mission before the stock car races icon reappeared in my game. And all my other returning player content was intact just the stock car races icon showed up after completing Mr Philips mission. I played a couple more missions and then noticed the stock car race icon was gone. So the only way to correct the bug is to contact Rockstar support. Seth K. was the name of the Rockstar support person that was able to resolved my issue.

I might have found a solution
Save the game first.

Delete the game and reinstall it.

Do not update to the new version, let the game keep v1.0. Keep offline or just stop the auto downloading.

Load the last save, wait for like a few seconds and the races should show up. 
There will be only race 1-4 if the game is still v1.0. it’s probably because that Cheval Marshall is in newer version.
Do race 1-4 in the 1.0 version of the game. After finishing race 4 save the game, disable autosave and update to the latest version (v1.38).

Then launch the game again.
  start the races  all over again and the race 5 and Cheval Marshall should show up for you

Thats called a bump, just try to avoid topic that are that old and stay to the new ones like u did in ur first post
