i like this mod, but sadly i've got some crashes when used with other mods, but alone it works well

Sorry a stupid question: where to put the .ini file, CLEO folder too?

 

I put all three (of second release) in CLEO folder, but the mod not worked properly: The peds disappeared after I hit them! 🙁 only first realease works fine for me.

 

However the second release only works well if I use old ragdoll_physics.cleo from old release instead and the new .cs from second release (ragdoll_frameadjust.cs).

 

So what I did wrong here?

Put the .ini in the root folder of your gta sa where the .exe file is present...😊

I love this mod but probably only complaint I have is the player cant ragdoll like the peds.

 

Small update here. Seems alot of clipping issues happen in SF area...

yep, that is what i would like to get in a future update, but i've manage to get the player ragdoll using the gravity gun and hitting myself with a car

I mean i dont really care to track errors you have cause of other mods. No need to post this.

Nobody said that it is complete f*cking engine replacement or integration (what you prob mind about this thread as i assume). Want it? hire someone for that then.

I did my best, and it is what it is. If you dont like it, go fnck yourself.

- fixed collision issue

- corrected bullets listening

- added default ids limits

- added few options

- corrected building destruction timer

- enabled interriors

- fixed extinguisher/spraycan issue

Is it mandatory to play with RagDoll_FrameAdjust.cs always limiting the game to 60 FPS (instead of original 25 or SilentPatch's 30)?

Its not, but you may notice some weird moving body trembling due to update rate conflict

 

My game crashes when you install this mod even on a clean game.

1.0 US executable, do you even "readme"?

 

i've manage to get the player ragdoll using the gravity gun and hitting myself with a car

cj model is not listened, it is multipart body and it should be parsed specially. maybe i will get back to this question, but now i dont have time for such things.

 

but had some problems with peds spawning, but when I did see a ped, they went flying!

i think the game just spawned a car over it, "Welcome to San Andreas"

Holy crap, even in it's current state this is becoming a must have mod for me, with a few physics adjustments this could really be an amazing mod for the 3D era games.

Is this serious? Or a joke... Sarcasm is kinda hard to read '-'

 

I would like to know what major issues are left like does the game still crash when lots of peds fall through the ground etc.

 

Also don't listen to these asses that think it's easy to make actual ragdol physics work on a game that doesn't natively use them. There is no way to just transplant physics like those of the HD-era gta's in 3D era gta's.

I ment they went flying by me driving through them at 200 mph! :p

 

I think the peds not spawning when the camera is facing them is caused by some other mod though, since no one else is experiencing soooooo.. nevermind that.

@Madleg, as I said that "...bikes not able to collide the dead peds on ground...", but then I found that it's because the bike collision is at height so cannot tough peds --> actual problem: The wheel collision issue.

So may u make the mod detect the collision of the vehicle wheels? Will be so amazing to see peds being crushed under my wheels!

EDIT: Still noticeable this annoying bug. Seems that the game defines incorrectly the geral mass of world objects including vehs & peds.

Use the collision tweak mod to negate that (most of the time), it also fixes car damage applied to the same side of the cars in crashes (your front getting damaged and the peds cars front getting damaged even though you crashed into the back of it).

Perhaps he didn't yet understand what mean. I need to say again, that actually the bug is the "mass" issue, as I know (not sure) that each ped is 50kg of weight, and the vehicles generally are >1000kg, but the physics plays unrealistically when I hit a car (1500kg e.g) to a ped (50kg) and the car "suffers" a large amount of backforce, looking like the peds are made of concrete!

Not know why, but the other games like gta4, 5 and even III & VC not have this issue.

@Minhkute360, I think that this mod fix the backforce problem, From the release date of this mod I just killed sooooooo many peds and not even get a single problem of backforce

@kkjj, do u use any other mods that relate to handling/mass (for e.g CollisionTweak cleo mod by Junior_Djjr? With this mod I even set fMass_mult = 5 but got no effect!). And did u try in clean or heavy modded game?

Даже на чистой GTA'шке без всяких хуе-модов вылетает, либо не работает.

Latest release is pretty much perfect, sticking several satchel charges to peds and watching them fly into space is GLORIOUS!

 

Btw, if you are planning to implement the ragdoll on CJ you should add an .ini option to disable it, I'm pretty sure it will interfere with the gameplay in a bad way in some cases.

 

EDIT: Small issue, peds take too long to get up after being knocked over, this makes the game a lot easier especially when using a shotgun.

Agreed, I suggest adding another option in the ini for ragdoll duration. I still haven't crashed after the last three builds. Incredible work, madleg!

I jumped out of my chair when I saw the download, I give the mod an 8/10! It'd be a 10/10 If it had player support, SAMP Support and Better Collision. But I can wait. Just saying that this mod will be great! I cant wait for the next release! Probably one of the best mods to date! Well Done! Also, The NPC's get up too slowly, maybe have it at a certain threshold once the ragdoll stops moving then after a second the NPC will get back up. And for the player support, maybe have it in a similar way for freefalling. When the player jumps off of a tall cliff or building, have it where if the player is in the air too long the ragdoll will activate. :lol:
