Cd is not scratched, PS2 runs other games fine. Any ideas? Maybe, if you play Vice too long, your ps2 may get a lil overheated..and may cause it to stall.. I doubt that will be the case, but, you never know.. Try cleaning your disk thoroughly, that's all I can recommend. Cheating messes your Crim Rating..and, if you save after certain cheats, can cause the cheats to stick with you. Cheats don't mess the perfomance of VC up..maybe Gameshark, if in the wrong hands, could cause problems.. The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours! IT Saved my disk from certain destruction the time when my little brother accidently spilt milk on my VC disk. misguided little boy. He must learn respect for items that are sacred in this world. It happens after playing for a little bit, but I think it has to do with cleaning and not overheating cuz I've only had this problem lately. Need to get a cleaning kit I guess. stevetheleafe Posted February 23, 2003 Share Posted February 23, 2003 oh, dont get the dvd doctor, such a piece of sh*t well, i have you know, if it wasn't for the dvd doctor i would have had to buy a whole new vc, it was skippen like a first grader at reaces man! mine was filled with scratches around from yours truly cleaning it witha dirty ass shirt! tonsa scratches all around, i thought i was screwd! but the doctor really helped. i have had NO problems with it ever since! haahaa!!! buy it, or i'll fart on yer face! The problem was, I had gotten about 7 packages, and wanted to save. When I wanted save, the Cheat Warning came up, and I didnt save b/c my friend save with cheats and his game freezes.
