Lancerator
Hello there, so, I'm having this issue since I ever created my first skin which it wasn't much but practically 2 or 3 weeks ago, thing is, when I export my edited skin into the game it seems kinda pixeled, textures are seen like Minecraft or something, lol. I might just been skipping something in the rigging part or i'm using a poor-usage tool. Here's an example of what I do mean: http://imgur.com/a/YRwku

Sloth-
Could it be txd error perhaps? What are you doing exactly to edit the models? If you followed some tutorial post it.
Lancerator
Could it be txd error perhaps? What are you doing exactly to edit the models? If you followed some tutorial post it. I don't really think it could be a TXD error, since i'm following the same procedure as everyone (at least in YT) to texturize a model. What I do is simple, I take a few parts from some skins, I join them along the others ones then I proceed to drop their texture by their respective TXD File. Well, i'm following a tutorial like everybody else, here's the link:
Sloth-
I really can't tell you where the error is, but i can suspect on some things: 1) Do you use G-TXD? I'm on windows 7 and i tried to use that program but seemed to use outdated software and crashed me. I don't think that could be the pixelating cause, but because we don´t know where the error is, you must test everything. Try TxdWorkshop and Magic.TXD and see if pixelating is still present, just in case. The author of the video says you can't import more images into txd with txdworkshop, that's not true. Workshop even has a useful option to perform a dff check (it tells you what images your dff requires and if you fulfill them). 2) You really don't need to texture your model in 3DS max at all. In my first model conversions i ignored that fact too, but the models already have the textures attached, and 3DS max doesn't show them because it doesn't know where those files are. I can't tell if the re-texturing is the cause because in my first works i did that too and never noticed pixelation... But maybe you should redone the work without that step and see results. Just do a quick conversion, don't bother rigging in case you find the problem again. Hope it helps.

Do you want me to test if I can attach textures by using TXD Workshop or Magic.TXD or what do you mean? 2) Alright, then. I'll skip that part and I'll post results later, thanks for the help. Sloth-
1) Yeah, I do use G-TXD. So, what's your point exactly? Do you want me to test if I can attach textures by using TXD Workshop or Magic.TXD or what do you mean? Redone you txd file from zero with txdworkshop and then with magic.TXD. See if problem persists. We only want to make sure your txd file is not the origin of the problem. Edited June 4, 2016 by Sloth-
Lancerator
Yes, it finally worked, after all, I realized that the problem was in G TXD, I downloaded Magic TXD and now it works very well, besides, I used TXD Workshop to add 32 BPP to those .txd files. But now what is missing is the head texture, it looks white but I think I can take care of it. Thanks for your help, mods can lock this. The_GTA
Glad that it worked out for you! If you want to make models seem less pixelated you have to pick "linear" texture filtering mode in Rendering Options. This will smoothen the textures. But if you pick high FX quality in game optioms this setting is overriden by anisotropic filtering anyway. Another cause besides filtering could be the quality of the generated mipmaps. G-TXD is known to produce pixelated ones. I have no idea about TXD Workshop. But if you find any issue with Magic.TXD mipmaps please contact me so we can get it fixed (if issue with TXD format). Happy modding!
