If TLaD's and TBOGT's main theme are Life of A Biker and Night Life respectively; so what would be the theme of GTA IV?

TBOGT. This game receives way too much undeserved criticism solely because of it's not-so-perfect narrative and laidback tone. While the enjoyable sheer content, variable missions, and improved police-AI are always overlooked.

sh*tty, annoying characters, terrible music (San Juan Sounds and Electro Cock playing some of the worst music throughout recorded history, or at least in GTA series history, and then being played in your safehouse and club you manage, maybe if Luis worked in Bahama Mamas instead I would have been less critical) and color oversaturation were enough to make it a bad DLC.

Though I'll never understand why they bundled the ruined version of The Beat with The Lost And Damned. That made no sense.

I used to heavily dislike Luis, but over time I've grown to like him more. Sure I don't like him as much as Niko and Johnny, but he's definitely not the worst protagonist. :)

I still dislike him, he is just like Franklin. A bland grunt who kills people just because, he has no character at all.

OT: My ranking is obviously GTA IV, then Tlad (would gladly exchange Tbogt in favour of expanding this awesome DLC) and then somewhere in the corner TBOGT because it sh*ts all over the other two and has an awful story, protagonist and obnoxious side characters..

I even prefer GTA V because at least that game has Michael who was a well done character and the more lighthearted vibe fits LS much better (didn't like how they made LC so pink in tbogt).

Also @BDawg is right the music sucked and ruined the club management side missions

Uhh... You made a typing mistake. It is:

Life of a BLOwer. Not bowler... :-P

A person who blows (or Destroys) everything...

My favorite of the IV era was the Lost and Damned. I liked the grittiness of the game, along with the soundtrack. I thought Johnny was a killer protagonist, and really felt for him in the end. The biker aspect was also awesome, and before I got the game, I didn't think I would like it. I was incorrect. I just wish it was longer, but that's a minor complaint. I felt fulfilled by the end of the game.

My second favorite was the original IV with Niko. I liked the length of the story and how tremendously deep it was. Niko was incredible, and the soundtrack was also good. I love The Seeker.

My least favorite was definitely TBOGT. Luis is my least favorite protagonist of all time. I never cared for him, and I felt as I didn't get to know him real well as opposed to Niko. Besides a few funny one liners, I never saw a need for Luis. He was almost robotic. I also didn't care for the story. It felt overly cliche and dull hidden behind pretty lights. I used to hate the game even more until I was able to obtain the Skylift for PS3. But even as it stands, I never bothered trying to get 100% on all the missions. I never felt the urgency to.

Although, TLAD and TBOGT are neck and neck in the Third Question Tally.

All of them. Love how they each have there own story and they mix together perfectly. Much better than 3 different characters with one story.

My favourite GTA IV.

The story is brilliant, and TLaD comes close 2nd. It's quite nice listening to Metal and bashing up deadbeats, and then last TBoGT.

TBoGT featured some nice additions, but the more lighthearted and easy-going gameplay and story was meh, it felt like V in some aspects.

I guess I enjoy more serious stories.

Many people like Niko because of his loyality. GTA IV is the first game which looked totally different from GTA III Era games.

In the other hand... Joni Klebitz. "A brother may stab you in the back, a woman certainly will. But a bike will never let you down...". His life are.chopper motorbikes. There is no single mission where he does'nt use a bike. Many people like TLaD because of its bikes, weapons, killer and biker theme etc. Its good'n easy game...

La Balada De Puta Tony, The Ballad Of Gay Tony... Its a different game. Pink color, Modern Weapons, Modern Theme, Modern Looks etc give it a differentiated looks. Many people like Luis because of his Loyality. He could kill Tony in the 2nd last mission. But he did not. TBOGT consists of Nightlife and Club Life.

I like Niko first (Because he is Loyal and Soft Spoken Man).

Secondly I like Luis (Because He is Loyal to EVERYONE. He is a bit idiot but is a good guy).

Lastly Johnny... I dislike him. (He backstabbed Ray Boccino and took all his paper, Kidnapped Roman etc. I did not like his character at all)

The Hell is this 'Guido'?It sucks. In one hand I had to kidnap Roman in TLaD, and in the other hand I had to save Roman in GTA IV.

Likewise, in GTA IV I had to kill Jason, a Lost Biker. In the other hand I had to pay the Angels in TLaD (Which was led because of a missunderstanding).

The hell? The Lost And Damned is now in 3rd place? Someone's going to pay

I enjoyed all three of the games but GTA IV is definitely my favourite of them. The deep story and character development of Niko is extremely well done and suits the atmosphere of Liberty City entirely and I think the length of the story was perfect for it to be properly executed unlike how in GTA V there are fewer missions overall and three different protagonists, each with their own background and story, which I think didn't allow for the characters to be developed properly and could have been much better with more missions or fewer protagonists.

Out of the three, I'd say TBOGT is probably my least favourite. I did enjoy TBOGT and some of the new additions to the game that were implemented but overall I think the game was too lighthearted for Liberty City which is portrayed as a dark city and branded 'The Worst Place in America'. A more serious story like those of GTA IV and TLAD are much more suited to the city in my opinion.

Yeah. I like Niko too. He is really the best.

GTA IV could be more good if R★ could add more weapons in it like it had added in EFLC.

GTA IV could be the best GTA if R★ Could add more weapons, more dresses, and some vehicle modifying garages (like we have in GTA SA).

Each one is good in its own way. GTA IV is gritty and stuff and TLAD is also gritty and stuff but its a different story and side of LC. TBOGT is silly and thats what I like about it. I also liked the club life aspect in it.

IV

Out of the two episode games, I favor The Ballad of Gay Tony I just love the dynamic between Toni & Luis the story is pretty underrated very well written and a fitting end to the IV Story.

I Also liked the fact it showed another side to liberty city the more glitz & glam side of liberty city's seedy underworld.

GTA IV is my favorite, of course, TBOGT being a close second. I don't like TLAD that much, but it's gameplay was still enjoyable.

I think GTA IV's episodes aimed to show the same city in a different way, so judging TBOGT for being light-hearted seems silly to me. We already had a pretty long storyline (IV + TLAD) focused on dark themes. It was perfect and sh*t, but it's also nice to see another side of LC. That's why I enjoy TBOGT so much. All the darkness is gone, being replaced by intense colors, partying and exaggerated characters. It almost seemed like a new place.

I love both GTA IV and TBOGT as much as I love how they antagonize each other.

And Roman, well, it's not Johnny's fault he was wanted by the Russians :p

And let´s not forget that Johnny was forced to kidnap Roman because of Ashley. Apart from that, it was clear to see that Johnny felt bad for Roman. It definitely wasn´t something he enjoyed to do.

About Ray, he deserved it. He was a snake. Packie was right about him when he said that the only thing you can rely on is his greed.

Preach it! I've been dreaming of this ever since I played all three, it would've been perfect if R* ported EFLC's Liberty City to IV, with weapons, vehicles, TBoGT's slightly upgraded visuals, extended radio stations, some of the new interiors like the nightclubs, they may be unfitting for the other two but it's GTA, would be player's choice to go or not, pretty sure Roman and/or Brucie would've convinced Niko eventually to go to the Maisonette. And also updating IV with glitch fixes like when you succesfully counter and finish an enemy with melee but they get an static animation on the ground, while in TBoGT they fixed this by giving them ragdoll anims when they fell.

I don't have the PC version so I'm stuck with the retail games, but that would make an almost perfect GTA IV for me (and with the gloves too).
