I do have a few other interests such as TV... like Sons of Anarchy (why yes, I am loving all of these MC crews that seem so popular because I grew up spending pretty much every other weekend at bike rallies), I like to read (literally everyone says that, but who doesn't love a bit of Stephen King, right?) and I'm pretty easily pleased. I can be a bit quiet at first because I constantly trying not to annoy people (anxiety is a bitch) but once I've spoken to people a few times I'm perfectly fine, I promise.

 

Tell us about yourself as a gamer: So, I finished school, did nothing, developed a sudden interest in zombies (pre-Walking Dead) and found a little game called Left 4 Dead 2. I brought that and it introduced me to the world of gaming basically - from there I was finding amazing new games and meeting some incredible people. I joined a 'group' that would play multiplayer games, which prompted me to play your typical TF2, CS, that sort of thing. This went on for ages - I literally spent all day, every day playing games. Anyway, someone in this group introduced me to other things like Fable, Fallout and Mass Effect - big 'open' games with customisation and story... which blew my mind. I guess somewhere during that time, I stumbled upon San Andreas and spent far too long driving around Los Santos getting lost in the beautiful views, fast cars and chaotic missions. I love a bit of character customisation too. I was going to keep this short and sweet but I want to be pretty honest - it's getting dull playing alone. I miss having people to chat to and play online with, and having that again would be awesome. That's why I'm here.

Hows it going yall. I've been stalking this forum quite often in search of dedicated GTAV players looking to assist me in bringing GTAV PC to an established gaming community.

The gaming community in question is Revolution of Gaming.

RoG is a large group of gamers founded in 2008, and we just recently expanded the primarily xbox based community onto PC as well. We already have LoL, SMITE, and CS:GO brigades on PC.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I’m not looking for the best crew out there; I’m not all that interested in how anybody ranks in the world, what level you are, or how much money you have. I’m looking for a crew of people who are friendly, who like to play, who play often, and who would be willing to show me the ropes. I can contribute to the crew by being loyal, friendly, by participating frequently in whatever events you need players for, by making people laugh and just generally being chilled out. I learn pretty quick and am a decent shot, but only just got the game for PS4 a few days ago, and only just started playing online, so I don’t have much in the way of cars, cash, or weapons. I’ll contribute by staying true to the crew, so as you help me level up in the crew, I’ll help you with whatever I can. I follow directions well and am a good team player, happy to do whatever needs doing.
Tell us about yourself as a person: I don’t have the luxury of being a single student anymore with 100’s of hours to dedicate to the game per week. I work as a physio, so have regular shifts daily, and often they start pretty early so I can’t game all night all the time. I do however get on for an hour or two most days, and put in big long nights when I can. I’m chilled out and very laid back, down for whatever.
Tell us about yourself as a gamer: I love gaming and play as often as I can. I like playing in organized teams, and was part of a clan for BF4 for a while until it fizzled out. I like playing with like minded mature gamers who just like to have fun with the game, but I do like getting achievements, ranking up and unlocking/buying things as I go along. When I find a clan/crew I get along well with, then I’m very loyal to them and don’t play with anyone else, and back them up with whatever they need.

• How can you contribute to a gang/crew: Looking to join a focused crew. Wanting to complete elite heist challenges and grind missions properly. Don't care too much about wasting time in free roam death match. Level headed, interested in strats and cohesive team play, able to communicate coherently and strategise with other players. Constantly checking the minimap and scanning surrounding area for opportunities to assist team mates, always looking to improve and learn from others. Interested in high level team play where i can play a mission knowing in the back of my mind that my team mates have my back. Sick of carrying all the time. Played a few FPS games competitively and able to handle myself and aim properly. Love driving and finding escape paths and new ways to evade the cops/players.

   

• Tell us about yourself as a person: Aside from gaming, 25 year old IT professional and car enthusiast. Have always loved GTA. Bought a 360 on the day GTAIV was released. Bought a PS4 the day GTAV was released on next gen.

   

• Tell us about yourself as a gamer: Used to play BF2 on a "pro" level, attending lan parties for cash prizes, made a couple thousand dollars from prize money back in the day when BF2 was popular. Fell out of the competitive scene after a while due to how much time it was eating up (daily training, scrims, wars, lan parties, ladders, etc). Good situational awareness, love team play and working with team mates who know how to handle themselves as well as covering other team mates when necessary. Hate having to tell people what to do all the time and constantly play the game with other people in mind because they aren't able to take care of themselves. Would like to play on a high level knowing that my team mates have my back. Interested in playing with other players who can teach me a thing or two.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: Will participate in crew missions. Like Ramzy above, I want to join a focused screw, and want to participate in elite heist challenges and grind missions. Don't care too much about wasting time in free roam death match. Level headed, interested in strats and cohesive team play, able to communicate coherently and strategise with other players. Constantly checking the minimap and scanning surrounding area for opportunities to assist team mates, always looking to improve and learn from others. Interested in high level team play where i can play a mission knowing in the back of my mind that my team mates have my back. Sick of carrying all the time. • Tell us about yourself as a gamer: Used to play BF2 on a "pro" level, attending lan parties for cash prizes, made a couple thousand dollars from prize money back in the day when BF2 was popular. Fell out of the competitive scene after a while due to how much time it was eating up (daily training, scrims, wars, lan parties, ladders, etc). Good situational awareness, love team play and working with team mates who know how to handle themselves as well as covering other team mates when necessary. Hate having to tell people what to do all the time and constantly play the game with other people in mind because they aren't able to take care of themselves. Would like to play on a high level knowing that my team mates have my back. Interested in playing with other players who can teach me a thing or two.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: Will participate in crew missions. Like Ramzy above, I want to join a focused screw, and want to participate in elite heist challenges and grind missions. I have a headset and can communicate effectively. I am tired of carrying teams and want a decent team to role with to complete missions without constantly having someone die for some stupid reason.

Tell us about yourself as a person: Easy to get along with, usually, albeit very sarcastic. Very British. I am drinking tea as I write this. Outside of gaming, I am a wanna-be academic with an interest in political science.

Tell us about yourself as a gamer: Casual gamer as of late owning to work and study. Mostly focusing on completing GTAV missions at the moment

Anything else: Looking for a British or European gang. No problem with anyone else, just more suitable in terms of time zone.

Our members know when its time to get serious, and I haven't played with a single one who didn't feal ashamed for making us restart a mission/heist. They use the failure to better themselves and those around them, they use their rare failures to make themselves a better player. Anything else: 1. Like already stated, I can't stress enough that I love to have fun and goof off at times, but am serious on missions. I will try my best to accomplish my part of heists, but if I make a mistake or screw up, I don't want to be berated over it. Likewise, I won't yell at people if something happens on their end unless they are purposefully trying to screw the crew.

2. I do work full time, go to school full time, and have a wife with four kids. I am usually free Thursday, and Friday nights. Some weekends starting in June.

3. Yes, I am a guy that plays as a female character. I want to make this clear: I fully support equal rights. I just prefer to see a woman on the screen than a dude when I play. Baffles me that people think I'm gay because I prefer to see breasts on the screen.

I'm good at listening and taking orders, and am a generally nice and easy to get along with person. I don't do the whole drama thing, and don't do serious hard-core gaming where people yell at each other for making mistakes, etc. It's a game, and it's supposed to be fun.

 

I'm looking for a crew willing to help show me the ropes. I got a bit overwhelmed trying to do random missions... It seems that everyone else knows all the shortcuts and secrets but not enough time to explain them to a newbie!
