Welcome to Looking for a Crew topic.

The place where you can recruit, or be recruited.

 

 

Basic Information

 

 

There are two types of groups on GTAForums that you can join up, or recruit for.

 

We have groups who are based on GTAForums, residing in Gangs. You can find the directory of those official, certified and unofficial gangs here (GTAF Gang List).

If any of those gangs look interesting to you, go in their topic, chat around and ask how can you apply and become one of them, or they might approach you on their own some day.

Just note that most of these gangs will only get back at you and accept you if you agree to remain frequently active on GTAF, otherwise you'd be more suited for other kinds of groups.

 

We have crews who are mostly into GTAO and RDO basing their operations outside of GTAF and using this as an additional recruitment board, they are residing in Crews

You can find many interesting crews here, that can be used as a primary crew or a secondary crew for you, examples such as bald bro crew, or clover robbers unit, and so on.

As opposed to forum based gangs, for crews, there are certain rules that need to be followed, please check this topic for more. Crews forum rules.

If you can't find the appropriate GTAF gang or a SC crew for you from one of the above, then use this topic to attract their attention towards you instead.

Fill out the form, reply to this topic, then await to be approached by our GTAF Gangs, or by one of the many Social Club Crews looking for add-ins to their numbers.

If you still, after a few days(or even weeks) cannot find a GTAF Gang or an extra SC Crew for you, try browsing through this topic contacting other free agents, and participating/hosting GTA events in Events section.

That way, you can make new friends easier, and eventually, a few free agents could form a new GTAF Gang or a SC Crew afterwards.

Many of our forum gangs were created that way, as well as many other non-GTAF crews, so if there is no gang or crew that wants to take you - go and make one!

These rules apply for everyone - members looking for a gang who are posting here, and gangs looking for a member browsing here.

 

1. You have to copy/paste the template and fill it's categories.
Anyone looking for a gang but not posting by the rules will have his post deleted by staff.
2. If you find a free agent interesting, and you wish to get him/her in your gang, send them a PM.

Do not reply in the thread, unless there is no option to PM a person you want (this applies to new members).
3. Don't make a new topic with your free agent template, if you do, it will be erased by staff.
4. Do not spam the topic with advertisements for your crew, or a gang.
You have your topics in Gang Chat and Recruitment forum for that.
5. Once and if you have joined a gang/crew, edit your post at the bottom to say you found a gang.
Or simply erase the whole post contents and write "taken".
6. Bumping your recruitment post is allowed once every 7 days.

Gang History on GTAF: I have never joined a gang on GTAForums before, looking to join my first gang.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I will participate with gang hangouts and events that take place on all the GTA multiplayer games I own when I have spare time. I will create game modes that might be enjoyable for the gang. I will participate in any roleplay if it is a roleplay gang.

Tell us about yourself as a person: I am quite a nervous person when you meet me at first but when a friendship builds overtime, I normally become a memorable friend. I like joking around with people and I don't get offended easily. I don't normally lead when in big groups, I will just go along with what everyone else is doing.

Tell us about yourself as a gamer: I am a casual gamer, don't expect me to be the best at everything because I don't find that enjoyable. I enjoy messing around in GTA. I like to participate in races as I consider myself as a good driver in most games, I like racing games but don't own that many. I am not good that good at deathmatches, I don't find first person shooters that fun. If in big groups, I will just go with what the majority is going with, whether that is FPS games or racing games, as long as I am having an enjoyable time. I am not overly aggressive when it comes to any competition.

Anything else: I am mainly looking to join an official GTAForums gang but I will happily accept to be enroled into any GTAForums gang that wants me in it.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I'm good all round, excellent pilot/driver and good backup in a gunfight (5.80 K/D), I have a garage of fully modded cars, have every weapon fully upgraded and have access to everything from Pegasus.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: Loyalty and intelligent game playing. I have a mic. I'm a legit player, I don't grief and I don't cheat/glitch. Don't care if you do but I won't. You kill me, I kill you twice, otherwise I tend not to get involved in peoples business. In open combat I am average to below average but one on one I excel. Patience is virtue, I wait for others to make a mistake and I pounce. Above average driver. I am level 75, so most weapons and calling abilities.

GTAF Activity: Relatively new, just started using the forums more, probably a few times a week from here on out.

In-game Activity: At the moment every 2/3 days, probably be a little bit less over the coming month as I take/revise for exams but will increase again after that.

Gang History on GTAF: I've never joined a gang on GTAF but I used to be a commissioner in a crew with 35 members (we had about 200 until the leader and I decided to kick the majority out as they were inactive). I left because they wanted me to be more active as I was the commissioner, which I intend to be in the future, but cannot promise at present

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I consider my main strength to be my ability with a gun and my secondary strength to be driving.

Tell us about yourself as a person: I like to have a laugh and enjoy myself but at the same time I know when to get serious. I like to think of myself as a team player that can give out and take orders as necessary as well as take on board any constructive criticism that come my way.
Tell us about yourself as a gamer: Started back in the 360 glory days, ended up with just over 20k gamerscore and then my 360 broke so I made the move over to PS3. I do own an Xbox One now too, but I still spend must of my gaming time on GTA on the PS3.

Anything else: I don't want to join a crew that are going to endlessly play Rooftop Rumble, nor am I looking for a crew with hundreds after hundreds of members. My last requirement is that I am not expected to be online every single day because after all there is life outside of GTA.

EDIT - Still looking for a crew and I will likely be increasing my activity to more often than I stated in my original post as my exams are now over!

I am looking for an mc that likes to do realistic mc sh*t and operate like one, im pretty skilled in combat (auto aim) im decent at free-aim though. How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I consider myself pretty good at free aim, i also have a lot of experience in recruitment so i consider that one of my strengths.

Tell us about yourself as a person: I'm shy at first, but once i get to know you it's hard to shut me up I'm extremely loyal to those who i consider genuine friends.

Tell us about yourself as a gamer: My favorite genre is role-playing games. I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect Series/The Elder Scrolls Series/Fallout Series.

Anything else: I'm looking to join a Motorcycle Club. I'm not looking for some massive 100+ person club where barely anyone knows each other, i'm looking for mature-dedicated people who can count on each other as brothers. I'm also looking for an active club who gets on a decent amount.

How can you contribute to a gang/crew: I'm very knowledgable about gta online, I know the game very well, I can drive, fly and shoot with the best of them. Sniper expert and very efficient getaway diver. I will follow crew requests and I'm a very friendly player unless killed first.

Tell us about yourself as a person: I'm a pretty talkative person, I like to have fun and create my own games which is a huge part of why I never get bored of gta, I'm a super/sport car enthusiast in real life and my garages reflect that, I'll play virtually any game mode or just kick it in free roam, not too picky what I do as long as there is a challenge/ a point to it

Anything else: not interested in a crew who doesn't do anything together or just grinds missions, I have no problem helping low levels in the crew level up on my spare time while I watch game of thrones haha
