guard3
Hey all. I have a problem I'd like some help with. I'm converting LCS mobile map to Vice City. However, as LCS disables backface culling, those models in Vice City.... don't look too good. The same problem applies to GTAIII map as well. Is it possible to disable backface culling on Vice City? I've played HackMan's LCS PC and GTALC and backface culling is totally disabled. I've used LC launcher with disabled backface culling, eASIer.asi with the same, and Majest1c_R3's patcher from Stories Map Converter. But, all objects with any kind of transparency flag through ide either don't get disabled culling, or they flicker. Is there any good solution? Or an extra option on those mentioned? Changing ide flag or doubling faces in 3ds Max causes alpha bugs on my models. Any help appreciated Edited May 25, 2016 by guard3
Igor Bogdanoff
Skygfx has the option and partly fixes alpha bug, try that. Also try reordering materials in model so the one with alpha are first.
guard3
I know about material rearrangement. I do that, but still get alpha bugs because of double faces. .... Looks like i have found 5 memory addresses that fix the problem, I'll report back if they work. EDIT they work. Nice! Thanks for your reply Please lock the thread Edited May 25, 2016 by guard3
Frank.s
Could you post the memory addresses so that people who may get this issue have a way of fixing it too?
