gunziness Posted October 13, 2021 Share Posted October 13, 2021 (edited) Has anyone noticed that the stock car races icon dissapear from the map (and locks the activity) after certain period of time? it happened to me when a loaded a game after the content unlocked for me. Dunno if its only on my end, because of my save or mods installed (just a few installed though). I have enabled MP maps by default too (might have to check if thats the issue now that i think about it). Since I just checked, I wanted to share how a connection to prod.cloud.rockstargames.com is required. I would assume it also means playing offline in general doesn't trigger the bonus either, so that's unfortunate (and, of course, the bonus triggers independently from the save). Interestingly, if that hostname is unreachable during first load, the game will still keep trying to reach it. Not sure if loading a game again is required, but that was enough for it to trigger for me. For context, I block that hostname to avoid loading the news feed in loading menu and the overlay (edit: almost pointless), and I already finished the exclusive activities prior to everyone being granted the bonus. Posted January 11 Share Posted January 11 The best we can possibly do in regards to the stock car races is to just keep spamming Rockstar support about it and pray it's finally acknowledged. But this issue has been present in all versions since 2014, so I doubt it'll be fixed in 2022. Hell, I doubt it will even be fixed in the "Expanded and Enhanced" version. But that time i playing at local user (my internet is bad that time, that why i never think to connect it to RGSC). I just know about returning player after watch some YouTube videos, but now i don't have last gen console again (My PS3 broken, and i sell my Xbox 360 long time ago). I play GTA V at PS4 now (PC too actually). If you can help me to get returning player content, thats really help me. Edit : i see some user says now its free, but i not found the bonus in my story mode, i try new game too but i not found any of bonus content.
