SmokesWithCigs Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) name a character and a vile act he commited that makes him a pos(piece of sh*t) no naming character traits but what have they actually done that makes them a pos niko- killed his friend/associates brother and shows up at his funeral. that's cold blooded man franklin- assassinates people he doesn't know(I know he's a hired gun he doesn't have to know his victims) and shrugs it off with no remorse. excerpt from the vice hit: "i don't even feel bad about it" the vapid bus pickup hit was pretty cold to also if you hear franks dialogue while chasing the guy down in the bus you would swear trevor rubbed off on him. trevor- just forget it tommy vercetti- we all know he's a hired gun being used by the ferelli family but he's a pimp. escorting mercedez and candy suxx all over vice beach. tommy you scumbag! claude- he doesn't speak. whats the deal johnny tightlips? why so quiet? what are you hiding? this aint gta charades y'know.... Big smoke and Ryder was- a part of a plan to kill sweet but wound up killing CJ s mom instead. Lance vance-coke paranoia and an inferiority complex caused him to turn on Tommy. I guess that's just life in 2001 LC, though. Tommy V- My favorite protag of the series, but even I admit he's a bit of a bully. But doing 15 years in an LC pen might do that to somebody. He always ditched Mercedes but then again she's just some coked out stripper anyways so I can understand why. CJ- a good enough character. I like when he opens up about his childhood and time before he left LS. That construction site was totally f*cked up though. Up until then the game had been semi serious but most of the people you killed were gunning for you. It just felt like it messed with the tone of the rest of the missions, especially where it's placed in the storyline whe CJs trying to be more of a mafioso/ businessman than just some violent freak. Vic- a nice attempt at retconning his character, but they leaned on the "just trying to get out of crime" aspect too much. I mean, the f*ck, guys? Who wants to play a GTA game where the main character doesn't want to commit crimes? Never really felt like he went "too far" anywhere though. Toni Cipriani- Probably one of the most evil protag in the series. Blew up a huge area of Staunton island killing thousands. And it just gets glossed over by the story like nothing ever happened! Never mentioned again! What the f*ck? Niko- said he stalked a girl in a manny mission. The f*ck, man? Maybe it was a joke. Johnny- Just kind of bland and had a weird cowboy accent. Never really did any one thing that pissed me off. In fact, I don't remember much of TLAD. Felt like a RDR character transported to IV. HIs character is now pointless to play thanks to V's sh*t story though. Luis- My second least favorite protag. Just basically an annoying dumbass meathead, annoying friends, annoying mom. Only served as a blank canvas for the wild missions. "Bro tone" pretty much sums up his entire character. I hate pretty much everything he did or said. Michael- Had the potential to be a cool, smart calculated guy based on his trailer lines but just turned out to be a whiny rageagolic who was always losing his cool and making stupid decisions, like when he pulled down madratzos house. Is this R*'s attempt at a compelling reason to return to a life of crime? Got too pissed and did something no one would ever do? Also "Gangster going to therapy" trope has been done way, way better before this so I always playing as him because of that. Franklin- Kind of a generic cynical griping GTA protag. I hate how he lets his ex walk all over him in the rescue Lamar mission. He should have just told her to f*ck off. Trevor- Least favorite GTA protag. Rapist. (Fan-addicts of V scream "no evidence" because there's never a cutscene or something of him raping somebody but it's heavily implied several times thought his dialogue and switch scenes.)and a bully to boot. Preys on the weak while at the same time thinking he's some moral valiant person on a high horse. Really disgusting character, glad he's gone for good and can be forgotten alongside V. Niko really comes off as a piece of sh*t, confused asshole, who always does the opposite of what he whines in the cutscenes. Here's more details about that random encounter. CJ - killing off construction workers just because they called Kendl a whore.This is a wrong example. He killed them just like Niko and every other protagonist did for defending themselves. I've a complete explanation here that clearly proves you wrong. Its a FACT. Sweet (and to a lesser extent Ryder) - Complete twats to CJ for no reason, usually completely unprovoked. Trevor - no explanation needed Tommy - Willing to betray not only his family that he swore an oath to, but some of his own associates simply for personal gain. CJ - Killed a construction worker for catcalling by burying him alive in concrete while in a port-a-potty. He literally died by suffocating/starving while being soaked in sh*t. No defence for that. Toni - HE BLEW UP AN ENTIRE NEIGHBOURHOOD OF INNOCENT PEOPLE Johnny - Willing to break out a cannibal, help a scumbag CEO escape police custody, and mock a terrorist attack for a corrupt politician. Doesn't matter that he was forced to, still a dick move. Luis - slut Pretty much all protagonists - Killing legions of police officers doing their job and street thugs just trying to get by - let alone groups of innocent civilians. Though this does fall down more to ludonarrative dissonance. Aside from being open about once being involved in human trafficking (possibly sex trafficking/slavery, considering he did all this in eastern Europe) he also indirectly confesses to committing despicable war atrocities. OK cool bet I'm asking what ACTS did they commit not character traits I don't care how whiny they were or how many times they say bro how much their girlfriend walked all over them etc. You were on the right track until you got to michael. Pulling down some ones house is a bit too much night it's understandable how would you feel if somebody f*cked your wife in your house? About that can killing that construction worker from a recent play through when I did that mission they were shooting at me. Honestly he is kinda racist, and by that I mean his character is kinda racist to Armenians. Martin Madrazo: I hate this character, because I feel like they rehashed Mikhail Faustin here.
