Tails Prower Posted May 23, 2016 Share Posted May 23, 2016 So I'm back with some more PS4 GTA Vice City problems as going for 100%. This time it's the RC Bandit Race which if I have read correctly takes place on the stunt course on the beach just near to The Malibu Club and I believe I should be seeing a Top Fun van parked in the sand however there is no van. Now I have read the wiki and it suggests to take another Top Fun van to the location but when I try to park it on the spot I think to trigger the RC Bandit Race nothing happens? I'm trying to park facing the start/finish line of the track as seems the spot the van should be parked at. Also I've seen the in game billboard for the Hyman Memorial Stadium racing missions but when I go up to the stadium after 8pm I'm not seeing any activity or place to trigger the racing event, do I have to be there at exactly 8pm? Lastly is there any tips guide for the Paramedic, Vigilante and Fire Truck R3 challenges as I'm really liking them but I'm struggling to get up to the required Level 12 I keep running out of time due to traffic or in the Vigilante mission when the wanted stars start racking up I can't seem to shake the cops or get another vehicle to loose stars and get back to the cop car quick enough. It's not just PS4, which is emulating the PS2 Version...Eventually the Mission will activate if you park it perfectly in the right spot... For Hyman Memorial, you need to go there at 20:00 for the middle door to be open and allowed to do Hotring, Bloodring, and Dirtring... For Vigilante, just use a Hunter. That requires you to get all 100 Hidden Packages, though, so it spawns in Fort Baxter. Either that, or get 90 Hidden Packages which is the Rhino Tank at Fort Baxter. But either the Hunter or the Rhino can complete Vigilante Level 12 like nothing. The Hunter locks on with the guns to the Vehicles and blows them up in a few seconds. It takes all of 8 minutes to finish Vigilante Level 12 in VC with the Hunter and all this stuff can be done in the beginning of the game, before the first Story Mission if you want, as well... You wouldn't happen to know the exact spot or have a link to the right spot for me? Ah! I never realised the building opened at 20:00 - DOH! I've been looking for a red mission corona to indicate open for buisness! Guess I had better get cracking on hidden packages then, I've got 50 out of 100 so far so halfway, just need to finish exploring the city (want to do them without looking up internet), only areas of the city left to cover are Little Haiti, Little Havana and the Airport and some of Ocean Beach/Vice Point. Lethal Vaccine Posted May 23, 2016 Share Posted May 23, 2016 I just watched Youtube Videos of PC Version to know the exact location of the Top Fun Van. It's tricky to position correctly and takes me about 3 minutes until I find the right spot. It automatically will trigger the RC Bandit Race... Yeah, I've been playing VC since 2002 on PS2 so all of these things I've known for quite some time... Good luck on that. Doing that, though, unless your memory is God, won't be very good if you miss one or two and then are stuck at 98 or 99/100 Hidden Packages. I do all of this stuff in the beginning before "An Old Friend," so I never have to worry about it again when I go to do a VC playthrough. Instead of starting at 0%, I start at 44% since 100 Hidden Packages, 35 Rampages, 35/36 Stunt Jumps, RC Missions, R3 Missions, etc, etc, etc, are already done right before An Old Friend. Fooking Rekt Posted May 23, 2016 Share Posted May 23, 2016 On my first playtrough i did all Hidden Packages without a map. It took me around 10 hours lol.
