unopescio Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 It's pretty rare but i have balled my eyes out at the end of eternal sunshine for the spotless mind, which basically leaves you with the message that all romance dies out eventually and all relationships are doomed to fail. Growing up quickly in youth and being forced into absolute reality at a young age made it to where I can barely even take movies serious, knowing it's a bunch of adults playing around in front of cameras for lots of $$$. Weren't exactly sad tears, but the impact the ending of the movie had on me messed with my head and left me a bit teary eyed, because I had seen similar things happen to my own friend.\ Edit: Oh yes, also Grave of the Fireflies, how could I forget that.
