Did all the biker crews get soft?

Bikes are the fastest land vehicle in game. Can jump over obstacles.. Can fit through the smallest of spaces. Can easily do a 180 stop and go... Can shoot in all directions and has more weapons to use for drive by shootings.

And thats a combo package deal here. :p

like if its really the " fastest land vehicle " you've boasted about ?

or...or you've referring to fastest motorcycle ?

fastest is not always an advantage , lets just say this NPC makes turn to another lane for no reason ( that is , most vehicles lacked the turning signals ) . oh when i've used my motorcycles , cops were notably more aggresiver than i taught

I won't say this often (possibly never again), but he's right.

Due to acceleration and handling, along with high top speeds, most motorbikes are overall faster than every single car. Obviously a straight-line race changes things but if you're just talking about playing the game and scrapping with other players, then it's usually vehicle-based and within the city. In that common situation a motorbike will nearly always win (assuming the player is used to using a bike and knows how to use its advantages well).

I also agree with you bringing up bicycles though, as the "hold the wheel" event can be laughably easy on a BMX, even with Insurgents and Kurumas chasing you. Again - it comes down to the player and how well they know the tools at their disposal.

I'm in a biker crew, you can usually find me on a Bati or Daemon, but I also have 25 cars and I'm not into PvP. I guess that makes me soft? Actually, I don't care :)

you mean in term of agility , 2 wheel can outpace 4 wheels in city/obstacle environment ?

Most definitely. Also because motorbikes are lighter they accelerate a lot faster. So, since you can corner without slowing down that much, and can also accelerate back to top speed a lot quicker, a motorbike should nearly always beat even the fastest cars in the city. I regularly leave cars behind just by going around the same block a few times and then riding off (and that's on a Ruffian).

Just try getting on an Akuma around the city. Once you get the hang of it you'll hardly ever need to slow down to corner. It takes some getting used to but is very clear when you get it.

Im not boasting about anything.. Its just fact. It is known...lol

Fastest.. as in fastest at everything. Accel.. Speed.. Stopping and going. Im not talking about pure speed as im pretty sure most of us know what the fastest bikes are, if you dont.. just check the leaderboards on races.

Besides.. Even the slowest bike in the game can still out turn the fastest car in the game. Which is all that matters when people attack from cars. Once you do a 360 stop and go.. You go from the hunted to hunter in under a second.

NPC turning... well. sh*t happens. Thats why i stick to side walks when sh*t goes down. No cars there and plenty of obstacles to block with.....lol

sounds to me like you haven't run into a real biker crew.

i do agree that a lot of biker crews are lame, but trust me when i say there are plenty out there

that will chase you and your akuma friends trough the entire server with only their bikes and a pistol :D

nah i'm terrible on biking , though i can drive my car around unscratched ( it still doesn't help because of annoying traffic or if i'm in hurry )

Over a hundred days playing online and only ever saw 1 'biker crew' in a public lobby (other than clumps of 2 or 3 crew guys).

Went off radar, blocked their route with a peg bus, had some great fun. Wish I saw more.

Theres was a time when i saw biker crews. I would think 'crew with rules". Crews that would use bikes.. and use weaker weapons. And play in the spirit of the 'biker' lifestyle.

But lately... as in the last few months. Biker crews with balls are becoming a rarity. They are all turning soft and turning to into just more of the same old same old.

Running to use jets.. Using Insurgents.. Using assisted aim in free aim. Spamming mini guns and RPGs and suicide.. And never.. ever using bikes. If it wasn't for their crew tags you would never even notice they where a biker crew.

Now for the most part im talking about the bigger bike crews. But wtf happened? Did the GTA O randoms break their spirit?

I miss the old skool bikers that had style.

I'm not sure how most of my mc crew members play in free roam. I have a couple close crew member friends and none of us are into pvp all that much.

I would never dictate how any of my crew members play the game. They didn't buy the game and join my crew to be bossed around.

Those that liked to be bossed around in a crew

giphy.gif

It's just a game.

Although I do like the biker look, bad boys, motorcycles and rock 'n' roll music in real life. I'm not a biker, I just play one in the game.

Its usually just me on a bike..and i use all bikes. But i miss the days when they would do that as i dont see many of them anymore.. For me i always match weapon for weapon. So if someone uses something like pistol il use the same. As long as their friends dont jump in a force me to change up.

Good to see some still exist out there :D

Its people who play differently... that add more to this game.

Youve probably seen more then you noticed.

They have MC for the GT or in their Crew tag. If not some tags for example are LOST. HA or H8. Outlaws... Bros. etc.

Theres alot of smaller ones. Sometimes you just cant tell till you see their crew tag.

Yeah I've seen various MC tags and small groups of them but only one session where there were literally a dozen all riding their scooters round together.

Are you in free aim.. I know alot of them do avoid AA when they can.

For me.. i see biker crews constantly. Not a days goes by that i dont see at least one biker crew. While they used to be more common.. There was time last year that i would see full out biker wars between rival biker crews span out all over the city. Im talking full game of of bikers.

Biker crews used to be one of the biggest types of crews around. And they still are for the most part.

I searched Hells Angels om social club and got this result.

https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crews/search/alltypes/hells%20angels

And thats just one biker crew name. Theres so many of them. Thats why i think its weird that most people dont see them as often as i do. They are everywhere.

In this topic tho.. Im talking more or less about the major ones.

Heh for good reason.

Yeah, I play AA, mainly because mates do. Plus being reasonably ok at FA serves me well in AA.

I have never run into a biker only crew yet, but I guess most are now filled/infiltrated with children and that would answer a lot of your questions OP/

If you're hard for longer than 2 years consult a doctor.

There is and always will be "extreme" roleplaying in most games, especially GTA. If old crews are dropping codes, look for newer crews. If you're unable to find such things, why not start your own? Not as extreme but quite similar; I was unsatisfied with how harsh car meets were. So many rules. So many egoistic hosts with co-hosts and "no supers", "join our facebook group", "one kill and you're out". I started my own meets and shaped the meets as how I wanted, as how it should be if I joined a car meet. So why not do the same for a crew? Anyone can start a crew. Do your own codes of ethics. Form up your own band of bikers.

This is a game, after all, and even the most hardcore players will have a period to relax and take it slow. As dissuasive as it may sound, once you realize how much trouble "intense" roleplay crews are (this is including biker crews), you'll quickly lose the appeal. I'm not saying you shouldn't follow the code to the letter and respect the monarchy of most biker crews, you definitely should - the experience alone is worth it - but down the line you'll either lose interest, get into a conflict about some bullsh*t or move up a few spots and then real-life gets in the way. It's always the same. My friend had joined a crew months ago and enjoyed it for a few weeks until the leader killed him for no reason. My friend, major Sons of Anarch fan and all-around biker guy, went nuts over this and the crew turned on him in 10 minutes. At the end of the day the leader is most likely some kid/guy in his bedroom that watches too much Vice documentaries. This game is just a clusterf*ck of themes and you have to pick one you like but also accept what comes with it. In your case, it seems that biker crews have started dropping codes and playing with jets and miniguns. I'm a bit unsure how many crews you tested that out on as there's probably hundreds of biker crews so you're best keep looking or start your own up.

So I read the last page and your replies seem to indicate you're not looking for a crew? You're just sort of sadden that biker crews don't act like bikers. Okay? Have you checked in with the military crews just in case they ride bikes now?

Isn't it part of the Biker Code not to give a f*ck what other people think and do whatever the hell you want? Lol, "code? I'll give a f*cking code motherf*cker!" [swarms you and your friends with sh*t ton of other bikers]

You'd have to be a fool you think they do their biker code in a game.

Beartooth Bek

I ran into two 'bikers' in Paleto Bay yesterday (At least I got told they were in a MC). They were coming out of Beekers Garage with a Rat Loader of sorts, I came up to them because the Patriot I just stole was wanted by Simeon, and I had to respray it.

So I'm coming up to the turn, and I'm seeing their dots coming up to it as well. They turned into the same street, we honked our horns to each other, and went our own ways...

Now I don't know if this was an example of a 'soft' biker crew, or just the general niceness of Paleto Bay residents...

Cars > Bikes

The longer fools keep thinking this the longer bikers keep their advantage.

I'd choose a car for missions, and maybe for PvP if the game's lagging/I can't guarantee I won't crash.

But otherwise, bikes are faster, and can get to places a car just can't (love the subway system).

That was sarcasm/a joke.

I'm just trying to figure out why you're giving a sh*t what biker crews do if you're not in a biker crew or looking to join a biker crew. I haven't seen a single straight answer from you on why this is affecting you. How is clear; you want biker crews to stick to their code by why isn't clear. Also, making a thread on a forum won't change how hundreds/thousands of people play the game. You're honestly wasting your time, unless you're looking for an answer to your question "did all the biker crews get soft?", to which the answer is left up to you. All in perspective. Most in biker crews will say no, while most not in a crew and who won't care about such things will say probably/yes.

There's nice normal people that play the game like myself and then there's the majority of idiots that are the GTA community.

You ran into normal players. There's more of us, but we stay in invite only rooms to stay away from the GTA community of idiots.LOL
