Did all the biker crews get soft?

Theres was a time when i saw biker crews. I would think 'crew with rules". Crews that would use bikes.. and use weaker weapons. And play in the spirit of the 'biker' lifestyle.

 

But lately... as in the last few months. Biker crews with balls are becoming a rarity. They are all turning soft and turning to into just more of the same old same old.

 

Running to use jets.. Using Insurgents.. Using assisted aim in free aim. Spamming mini guns and RPGs and suicide.. And never.. ever using bikes. If it wasn't for their crew tags you would never even notice they where a biker crew.

 

Now for the most part im talking about the bigger bike crews. But wtf happened? Did the GTA O randoms break their spirit?

 

 

I miss the old skool bikers that had style.

TBH I've never even run into a biker crew online. I do know that the Reaper Lords still go by a code, but I don't know too much about it.

~ people thrashing MC meet ups when they're gathered their bikes

Biker crews aren't doing their stuff all of the time, sometimes they may want to just let hell loose in free-roam for a little while when not doing a crew event/meet not constricted by their code.

 

Do you expect gangster crews to only use lowriders and machine pistols or mafia crews to use roosevelts and tommy guns to take on a lobby? The point i'm making is that you can't be constricted to "traditional" crew tech in a free-roam session.

I expect more from biker crews, yes. Since they are the ones that used to pride themselves on playing a certain way. And at the very least to use bikes.. when dealing with someone on a bike.

 

Not just playing like typical free roam randoms and clinging to the most OP weapons just because they can.

 

Like i said.. Theres was a time when bikers actually played like bikers. Which to me lately is now rare to see. Which is why i made this post wondering wtf happened?

Well that's fair enough. When I usually see biker crews doing their stuff, its usually in invite only so they don't get disturbed by the people in jets/insurgents/explosives. As I said before, the ones you described are probably just a group of friends within the same crew who decided to just cause havoc in free roam while not doing biker stuff.

There would be frantic callings to mors mutual, and its hard to look cool when you are being rammed by an insurgent, shot by a tank and harrassed by an Hydra.

Noticed that too recently... the last MC logo I saw was on a fluorescent green Kuruma. The one before that was on a pink Kuruma. I don't really care what they drive, just odd to see a MC logo on some cars.

A bike is not an easy target. Tanks and Insurgents are not that big a threat to anyone on a bike..

 

Bikes can also easily escape line of sight from jets.

 

I mean.. i spend 99% of my time on a bike. and LOVE it when people pull out tanks and insurgents. Its not a big deal really.

 

This is sh*t bikers crews learned a long.. long.. time ago. I know i did...

 

 

And i mean hey.. If biker crews start using OP vehicles and weapons against players using OP vehicles and weapon.. That fair game. But thats not what im talking about.

I've never seen a biker crew ingame, however if you go to snapmatic under ''trending'' it's full of pictures of dead characters of their ''rival mc's'', combined with both player names. Seems a bit childish imo.

I can't say I've come across a lot of biker crews. Although I will admit, the idea of a biker crew that never actually uses bikes seems a little ... Strange? I don't know; I don't know biker crews well enough to have much of value to say.

Most people have said it best already but you can't really expect a biker crew to fight jets/tanks/insurgents with a chopper and shotguns/SMGs.

 

I've only personally had two encounters with biker gangs; one was cool we rode around while the other gang was trying to "own" the lobby but it was just 3 pissy middle age'd men smack talking while they were getting blown away by jets lol so I can't really comment on how "soft" they've gotten.

Well hey. Im not stupid.. Fair is fair. I don't expect biker crews to use smgs against jets thats insane.

 

 

But im always on a bike. So for them to be using jets and insurgents against me, is where im comming from.

 

 

When i see someone on a bike come after me i get all happy. I love throwing down with other bikers or crotch rocket ninjas. Its rare... but i love it.

I'm sure that if you were to attack them on bikes with guns they would play that way, but if you are going to do jet passes over them either they allow this or take a jet and come to get you.

Rules, rules and more rules. That's all I found biker crews to be. I lasted about half an hour, and only that long because my friend was so keen. Had to ride in formation, park my bike with the wheels lining up, only wear certain colors, etc.. etc.... All seemed like just an opportunity for a few crew leaders to wield a bit of authority they don't have irl. f*ck all that nonsense.
