DigitalSniper15
Hello. I just bought and installed GTA V, all goes fine, except for this thing. My PC greatly exceeds the minimum requirements, but with these settings (expecially when driving or flying), some textures doesn't load (I have an image, but dunno how to load it here). So, how can I solve this? Can you suggest some optimal settings for my config? I don't want to lower texture quality and distance scaling. My PC: Intel Core2Quad Q8300 2.5GHz MSI GTX750ti OC 2gb 8gb RAM DDR2 800MHz dual channel Seagate 750gb 32mb cache 7200rpm My game settings: Graphics: Ignore suggested limits: Yes DirectX version: DirectX 11 Screen type: full screen Resolution: 1440x900 Aspect ratio: auto Refresh rate: 60hz Output monitor: 1 FXAA: Yes MSAA: No NVIDIA TXAA: No VSync: Yes Pause game on focus loss: Yes Population density: 30% Population variety: 30% Distance scaling: 100% Texture quality: High Shader quality: High Shadow quality: Normal Reflection quality: High Reflection MSAA: No Water quality: High Particles quality: Normal Grass quality: High Soft shadows: sharp Post FX: High Motion blur strength: 0% In-game depth of field effects: No Anisotropic filtering: x16 Ambiental occlusion: No Tessellation: High Advanced graphics: Long shadows: On High resolution shadows: Off High detail streaming while flying: No Extended distance scaling: 0% Extended shadows distance: 0% Frame scaling: No Thanks in advance
SilverRST
Turn off advanced graphics completely, you don't need long shadows. And DDR2 is way too old and it may gives performance troubles. Distance scaling on 100%? Test the game again with distance scaling 0%.
southparkmayor
Your CPU is too weak for 60fps so you'll have to lock the game at 30fps. Your 750ti will be bottlenecked for refresh rates but you can bump up the visuals to compensate. just dont exceed the 2GB of Vram by no more than 500MB. Forget about advanced graphics. you can only dip your toes in that stuff with your card. if your motherboard can support DDR3 then install at least 6GB of that stuff. IT helps ALOT. SlaveZer0
your computer is old, outdated and for this game garbage.... too bad stupid people are stupid and don't read the system requirements.... and then theres those that think a pc is like a console and can run anything

Distance scaling on 100%? Test the game again with distance scaling 0%. I've tried as you said, but the textures still doesn't render. I tried lowering some settings, mantaining population density/variety at 30%, textures, reflections, water, post FX and tessellation on high and shader quality, shadows quality and grass quality at normal; textures load better than before, but sometimes they disappear. your computer is old, outdated and for this game garbage.... too bad stupid people are stupid and don't read the system requirements.... and then theres those that think a pc is like a console and can run anything As I said in the first message, I've read the requirements, and I'm just above the minimum ones. Thinking about an upgrade, should it be better if I buy an X4 860K (with a new mobo and ram, of course) and overclock it, or should I find a 775 mobo with DDR3 support and overclock my Q8300? How can he when he is on a high donkey with his $2000 e-peen? FTFY lol Anyway, ain't the GTX750Ti gets bottlenecked by the CPU? The C2Q is really way too old and DDR2 is from like dino age. The only powerfull part there is the 750Ti.
