Yes, but rapidwiz said that, if you've completed a mission, it will come up in the voting screen. But will it show up if another player is in the game who hasn't completed it? It sounds kinda strange, too, since I've already completed Coveted in the past many times, so I don't know why I'm required to complete it again.

Coasting iirc had something like a 4% rating. They removed it and brought it back a couple of times before removing it completely - unless its on the map at a certain time

Yea Coasting is a Freemode mission so it's only found on the map. Many of the ones the OP want to play are readily available.

You need to go to the starting point between those times. I thought it was always that way so i'm not sure what was removed for those missions.

 

Those missions are not on the jobs list nor are they to be seen on the voting screen; it wasn't like this before iirc. I shouldn't have to go through the time and hassle to go and look for them, and to start them at certain times is silly. They should be as easy to play as Los Santos Connection and Trash talk, which means I should be able to go onto the jobs list from the pause menu and start it up myself, or be able to select it from the voting screen after completing a mission.

I never do. The last time I played Coveted was probably back in 2014, and CCOIII probably back in 2014 or 2015.

 

Coveted is pretty fun to still do, I use playlists to kick it off.

Just because you played it before doesn't mean it won't show up on the voting screen, I think this is obvious, else none us will get anything to vote on because we all played every single mission.

 

It basically randomly selects a bunch of other missions probably similar to the one you just played, so if you play contact missions, it will select a bunch of different contact missions, if you played some non contact missions, it will select some non contact missions. If you just played a race it is going to select a bunch of races, this is obvious and how it works.

 

So when I played some non contact missions, as I mentioned CCO2 & 3 showed up, plus dirt road plus conveted which I agree is not the norm, but because I played a non contact mission and I was hosts, it's going to select a random bunch of missions in the same category.

 

I am pretty sure it is based on the hosts mission, not on others who participated is my guess. It may do a merge of some sort but unlikely.

Not going to happen dude, you will not play these in either circumstance, they simply not going to show up, it's designed this way.

 

I have a playlist I keep and when me and my friends want a change we run the playlist. Not sure on why it is designed like this but it is what it is. It's fun to play these older missions from time to time. I am just glad we can still play them even if it takes a bit more work to get to vs them removing them completely like they did some of the other mission, hence why this thread started again, we see this thread quite often.

 

Just go save yourself a playlist and play them when you bored.

It wasn't like this before, so they must have changed it. I remember playing Coveted, CCOIII and CCOII with randoms back in 2014; you would get invites to them as well as get put in them when searching for public missions.

You get invites to them if someone starts one up.. Just that most people don't have them saved because they are oblivious to rockstars weirdness.

You'll have to start the playlist and invite for the on call randoms. Share the playlists with friends and then they can share with friends. If enough players get the playlists, then maybe there will be invites sent out for more on call players.

First of all, i don't like that these are very rarely in voting screen (almost never). But as many of you have speculated why it is like that, could it be that these are kind of "hidden" missions? A bit like an easter eggs. I bet that there are a bunch of players who have zero idea that these exist.

I miss truck together. Such fond memories of that one with friends back on old gen. The GTA wiki has info on it for those interested. It was the only other 8 player mission besides Judging the Jury.
