I don't want to get a mod since my device is not jail broken. Those are the only cars left that I need to get for my collections. And thanks to the AP glitch with the girlfriends, I really want to have both of them AP... This also goes for Vice City, there was a video I saw on YouTube for how to get the A and B versions, but you needed the replay feature, which is not available on mobile devices... Lethal Vaccine Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I am not sure about SA, but certainly in VC, those EP/FP Hotring Racers the opponent drives are unobtainable without Replay Feature... I already tried to get the opponent's EP/FP Hotring Racer on PS2 by sniping the driver out of one of them and then taking it to the usual location to get it under the Stadium to obtain it, but what happens is when you get inside one of the opponent's EP/FP Hotring Racers, 3-4 seconds later it will immediately catch on fire and blow up. Only through that garbage Replay Feature exclusive to ONE Platform can you obtain those in VC... Your own EP/FP Hotring Racer in VC is pretty tricky to obtain the way it is. I've obtained it twice on PS2 already... But yeah, the SA Hotring Racers I haven't a clue about. How would one even go about breaking the opponent's out of the Stadium? The only one that spawns is the normal one once 8 Track is complete. All the ones inside the Stadium when 8 Track is going on can't be obtained. OrionSR Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) The save editor with a garage editor doesn't work on mobile SA saves. It's possible to alter the model of existing garaged vehicle using a hex editor; easy for me, but hex editing is a fairly difficult skill to learn. A more reasonable challenge is to use a hex editor to copy your entire mobile garage block into a PC save, edit it with the save editor, and copy it back into your mobile save. I get the impression that these are overwhelming challenges for this goal, so I won't go into detail just yet. Other options... It's pretty easy to add new cars to new saves by editing a couple of plain text files. This trick works on PC and mobile, even unbroken iOS devices. The mobile game is set up to read custom files from a particular user folder, so if you can find a file browser that will let you see your saves you can make these modifications. While you are at it you may as well add an FBI Truck and RC Cam. And may as well park an Andromada, Phoenix, Euros, Stunt... um, NRGs near every hideout. Fair warning; you'll be walking a dark path. The limiting factor though, you need to start a new save or the new cars won't be added. I tried pulling a banger out of 8-track using the Baron Transfender trick. The plan was to enter an opponent's vehicle and exit transfender to warp the vehicle out of the interior, but the transfender menu didn't seem to work at all within 8-track. Snagging the car was tricky as the doors are locked, but the doors take damage so eventually I found a lost soul driving the wrong way and grinding a wall, and when he crashed the door popped open and I got in. Time ran out to re-enter my vehicle and 8-track ended before I could learn anything more, but the important lesson was that I'd only have a few seconds to do anything with a vehicle before getting kicked out of the LS stadium. With that in mind, and considering the limitations of iOS modding, I think I have a strategy that might work. Create a new one-way, vehicle-only enex in that little offshoot near the start of the 8-track loop where new cars spawn if they are destroyed or stuck or something - not really sure on the conditions. Just after that is the wide turn ending in a bottleneck and that's usually where I see confused drivers. So, wait for or make an opponent's door open, jack it and dash for the offshoot which will, hopefully, warp CJ directly inside of a garage, or maybe right outside the stadium so the modification is less garage specific. Exit before time runs out and hopefully the car will be waiting. Actually, that probably won't work. I suspect the 8-track mission isn't going to leave wrecks lying around so the vehicle will problably get removed completely even if destroyed within the time limit. Bnd Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I was trying to get Player hotring and in deed transfender menu doesn't work on player car, even other cars as well... I also tried if OM0 changes anything while on 8-track and still i can't navigate trough the menu it was like im still on foot, also I've tried to get in car as soon as mission fails and meybe then it will recognise that Carl is actually sitting in Hotring but it won't even when he is still in car after mission fail it won't let me modify anything, then i spawn back on foot outside of Stadium, Only one way i was able to save the Player's Hotring was to teleport outside of Stadium then store it in garage then come after mission fail then it will be there repaired... but how to do that without teleporting device. OrionSR Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I can probably teleport CJ's vehicle with an custom enex, a trick that should work on iOS, Android, and PC. An enex is usually known as a door, seen as a yellow-arrow marker but the markers aren't always visible (SF Tower, Pier 69, Big Ear base jump tower). The LS Tower has an enex that works on bikes. There's a similar setting that teleports cars. Where should the enex lead? You mentioned that you stored the player's car. Can you store an opponent's car using a teleporter? The Hotring I drive on 8-track is the Hotrin version G!!! Is there something wrong with my game or what? Also, has anyone ever found a Hotring racer in Vigilante?
