Btw, aside, from the obvious extra health glitch, it takes 5 shots in the arm/legs to kill a level 100 with the Heavy Sniper. It's ridiculous. Try killing a rank 100+ with the pistol by only shooting in the legs (or arms) I bet it takes atleast 2 full clips. (or magazines)

 

Who is trying to kill anyone with a sh*tty starter pistol? The only pistol worth a damn is the AP pistol.

 

 

Just saying. I bet it would take atleast 30 shots with the AP Pistol.

 

 

No chance, AP pistol is my go to drive by weapon and it's a pretty quick killer. Tip, if you're on assisted aim, flick up slightly for head area shots.

 

 

 

I'm talking about leg and arm shots. It doesn't affect weapons with aim assist that much, but it happens often enough that you land a sniper shot on someone's arm, and it takes 5 shots there.

You'll hit an arm every now and then if you're constantly moving left and right.

 

 

To be fair even if somebody was hit with a real sniper to the arm or leg, as debilitating as it'd be it's not instantly life threatening in that exact moment in time. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make tbh that the sniper anywhere on your body should be 1 shot death?

 

 

 

Well, to me it looks like the heavy sniper is supposed to be the Barrett .50 cal. With the Barrett, a hit just about anywhere is life threatening. A hit in the arm for example, doesn't wound the arm, it removes the arm. No arm=lots of rapid blood loss, plus you certainly aren't shooting back. Even if you survive, you're done.

 

Me personally, I think I'd die from a heart attack if someone missed me with a Barrett .50.

5 shots in the arm/legs is ridiculous. I get it should do less damage, but 5 is a little too much IMO. Balance is hard to find in this game, with headshots being 1 hit kill and body shots tanking 12-15 shots or so.

 

 

Well if you want to apply that logic, limbs should be flying off with sniper shots. You should be re-spawning as a sludge of flesh and blood after being RPG'ed. Btw, you never heard of people surviving shark attacks despite limbs being shredded off? Or soldiers having legs blown off by mines? Losing a limb doesn't necessarily mean you're going to die in that moment, it's what happens after that matters. So my point stands.

Don't VIP's have more resistance to damage so that would likely explain it.

 

Anyways, dry your eyes OP. You have your character wearing heavy combat gear, a bullet proof hat and you drive an insurgent. GTFO!

Came across one guy doing this glitch. Pretty bad you have to use exploits like this instead of skill.

took on one of these guys today. sniped him in the mouth twice with a heavy sniper and his health bar didnt drop. he said something about not hitting a vital spot. so i got my tank and blew him up a few times. guess that got the vital spot. he then gets mad and starts talking about how im the pussy for using a tank.

I've met these cheaters lately. Won't fight anyone with heavy vest until this crap is patched.
