Just in case you're thinking of buying the Luxor Deluxe for 5 million. Look before you leap.

 

It's worth 2 million absolute max. That's 1.7 million for the black Luxor plus another 300k for a golden paint job and the ability to see yourself smoking a cigar/drinking champagne.

 

Imagine buying the most expensive yacht for 8 million and then Rockstar charging you another 16 million for golden handrails. No one in their right mind would do that, so why buy the Luxor Deluxe even a half-price. Just saying.

I'm not one to go round posting all my stuff, but I just want to prove a point here that Capture Modes aren't necessarily 100% crap and boring Take my capture Annihilation for instance. No PvP is involved what so ever. Just you, your team and a sh*t load of Annihilators shooting at you.

I have to say though, this double dosh and RP for captures has caught the attention of some. I'm getting at least 4 to 6 players joining my lobby. And I suppose I should point out that I got 4800RP for one round of my capture and 26,8k

 

As for the T-Shirt, well it's a bit ironic seeing that Meltdown never existed during online Suppose it's the same with the actual film in cinemas. Oh well, free apparel, can't complain

I only play captures when they pop up in daily objectives and ive even made a 5 second one for all 4 types to get m done as fast as possible lol. So no.

 

Bought my last car(all garages full) 1h before the update so payed full price on mods...

 

Allready had the Luxor and Kuruma so..no again.

Yet another lame Event Week. Even at 2x$, Captures still aren't worth the time.

 

Relatively useless discounts unless one still hasn't bought a Kuruma (Armored or Regular) or for some strange reason thinks sinking $5,000,000 on a Luxor, that's been spray painted gold and is a magnet for hostile missiles, is a good idea.

I guess I'll finally get an armored kuruma... I've been avoiding this for over a year, stubbornly not wanting to own one of the single most degrading aspects of this once wonderful game. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em for half price 14 months later lol. I suppose it has its uses.

I actually love this weekly update. I really love doing Captures. They are still fun once you have the right people to play with. I won one today. It was so much fun.

I actually logged on for the first time in months so that I could claim my T-shirt. Good job Rockstar! I also figured "what the hell, I'll play for a bit". Spent 45 minutes selling a car, doing my dailies and alternating VIP missions. I made 110k and I never fired a bullet...

...as for Captures. It'll be a cold day in hell before I waste any of my time with those cluster f*cks. It's quite sad really because capture modes in most every other game are quite popular...at least, they are when you know how to do match making and team balancing...

With that said...maybe Rockstar will release another cool T-shirt next week and lure me in for another 45 minutes...until then, back to Uncharted!
