Opinions on vehicle specific races

What are peoples opinions, if any on vehicle specific races. Warreners only, Sultans only, that kind of thing and what other types of specific races would you like to see?

I've been wanting that for forever. Would love to do a penumbra or a schwartzer race.

I find it annoying that even when you specify which vehicles can and can't be used in a race enabling customs still allows people to use anything, surely that's an easy fix

I could see three ways of locking vehicles:

1. Have the host lock to any stock car or their choice, i.e. Sultan-only, Panto-only, Sadler-only races and so on, independently of the race.

2. Have the host ban certain vehicles of their choice, i.e. offroad races without Sanchez, super races without T20 and so on.

3. Have the host lock to any of their custom car. This method would force everyone else in the race to use the same exact car as host but with an option to change the paintjob. Example: the host has a custom T20. They lock to that particular T20. Everyone else gets to drive the same custom T20 with its modifications, albeit they can change its colour.

I would like races locked to specific vehicles to always say so in the description. It's annoying to start a race up with the intention of trying a new vehicle you are thinking of buying, using a custom car, and the like, only to find it's locked to a single vehicle. I've no issue with single-vehicle type races, but I want to know up-front before I start it up.

Yea I've fallen foul of that before when attempting to test a new dlc vehicle, I like the idea of a host selecting a custom vehicle and then everyone else simply changing the paint scheme to suit, I've not heard that before but would make for some interesting races. I find it strange sometimes what R* seem to priortise in their updates, they seem to focus on a lot of tiny glitches and seem to ignore huge gapping issues with online. The menu system still baffles me, why you have to keep loading into story mode to access certain menus is beyond me

Ive always wanted races where people could use any car they please. Im sick of class locked races. Why not have races where anything goes? Sports cars racing super or sports racing bikes and offroad. We need variety.
