Why is GTA online so play to win?

Really, the system wasn't unbalanced to begin with, but with any lack of future-proofing, it's become nearly impossible to join the game nowadays, what with everyone else have their chrome miniguns and Hydras and all that jazz. Back when people were leveling regularly together, myself included, it was a slow struggle to the top and to max our stats. An easy fix for this would be matching players in lobbies based on rank, but considering we can't even get passive mode to work right, it's beyond wishful thinking to ask for something like that.

 

Also, I do agree that your health stat directly rising as a result of just playing the game is bullsh*t. I leveled my secondary with races almost exclusively and now he's got nearly as much health as a level 120 character, only having been in PVP four or five times. The strength stat is there to make you take more hits, health should be a default between all the players.

And they rushed to console because they didnt want to spend the money to port it to pc as they weren't sure enough it was going to sell well. This doesn't mean they are unaccountable for the delay.

 

No, weedell, I'm just saying that the health sytem is flawed.

 

Zader also makes a good point about how even storywise the health system doesn't make any sense.

And think about arm-wrestling. Have you ever played against a noob with very low strength and noticed how easy it is to win? It's exactly the same logic - advanced players can run, jump, fight longer, and keep on fighting for longer during battle, even after getting wounded. Real life fact.
