No, I love the marksman riffle! It does what it's supposed to, which is be a DMR.

 

Straffing wouldn't be used as much if we could crouch and/or go prone.

 

Hell, you even have to strafe in an smg or carbine battle today.

Nothing should be removed just because you don't like something. If you don't like a certain car then walk, if you don't like a certain rifle then start running.

I read your initial post and in this case it wasn't necessarily directed toward you but those who beg to take away something in the game for w/e reason. Not even developers will remove content so if it can be taken advantage of then why not use it? e.g. The infamous "noob tubes" in the Call of Dooty: Modurn Warfares series.

the marksman rifle is one of those game changing weapons, the ability to aim with a bit of zoom while being able to move added a level of difficulty not required by many weapons in the game...

 

in my book the only mistake made by R* was adding the "aim while zoomed" option to the other sniple rifles.

 

should the gun be removed? NO

 

it should get a bit of a nerf in it range/draw distance, the heavy sniper should still be the king of the sniper category but given it long range and decent firerate, the marksman kinda rendered the hevy sniper useless in a 1 on 1 situation.

All they have to do is slow down movement when aiming snipers in 1st person so it is equal to 3rd person, problem solved. But we all know that Rockstar will probably never do that.

Luck, most likely.

 

Most skilled players aren't dumb enough to place themselves in situations where a Marksman user can "obliterate" them.

 

The players you've "obliterated" are highly likely to be trash at combat. They aren't aware of the ways to easily counter a Marksman Rifle.

Remove a weapon just cause some players can't handle it? It's not a hard weapon to use but it takes skill to be good with it. A bad marksman player can't do sh*t with it

Personally, I'm against the idea of removing anything from the game. They've removed more than enough, in my opinion.

If someone doesn't like the rifle, don't buy it and don't use it.

I don't like the Pump Shotgun, myself, but I always seem to pick it up during Survivals. Go figure!

I would vote to just disable the sprint button movement while in sniper scopes and increase recoil on the marksman. Removing the gun seems way overboard.

well , just make explosion near them ( but not necessarily kill them ) , that'll shake their screen and thus ruining their aiming

 

or.... blind fire RPG ( intentionally miss ) and when he let his guard down , now's your chance to come out from cover
