Should rockstar remove the marksman rifle

After seeing alot of people hate the marksman rifle why wont we see other people's opinion

 

 

I think they should not remove the marksman rifle

I just think they should never have added the ability to run while sniping. It doesn't make sense, and has degraded sniping in general into just shifting from side to side.

 

Strategy, thinking, and aiming carefully is no longer important, and I think that's a shame. Instead it's just guys wiggling all the time. Just a little boring, in my opinion.

 

I don't think they should remove the gun itself though; just running while sniping (which was never in the game to begin with).

Nothing should be removed just because you don't like something. If you don't like a certain car then walk, if you don't like a certain rifle then start running.

I feep like this topic has been discussed multiple times before.

I personally hate this gun. People spam fire this gun. A marksman rifle is not meant to be spam fired irl like the way it is in this game.

And when other players kill you with it, it says things like "scoped you" or "sniped you". They didn't snipe anything. The only thing they did is empty a clip and a half trying real hard to kill someone.

Nah, the marksman rifle is fun, and it's not like its a one hit kill. I would even dare say they should let us remove the scope if we want to, maybe use it in mid range combat like a DMR/ designated marksman would do.

Its no issue at all, either move further back & pick them off with the Heavy... or go closer in AA (or minigun) range.

Removing content from a game is never acceptable. The marksman rifle isn't an all around OP weapon, it's just good in the circumstances it was designed for and is useful for people who can vary that play style a bit.

I think they should, that piece of sh*t is one of the worst things to be added to the game. It's for people with no skill so they just go side to side and spray and pray. I kill them with the heavy sniper before they even have a chance to kill me.

 

Take away the Marksman Rifle and the RPG from the people who think they're "good", and you'll see just how good they really are.

The Marksman Rifle by itself isn't the problem. Being able to move around while aiming down the sights is the problem.

 

Can't even have a decent sniping match anymore without it turning into a damn Shuffle-and-Shoot Fest. Instead of finding out who is the better sharpshooter, we can find out who is the better shuffler.

Completely agreed with this....but i also woud add an small damage or firerate nerf though...its just far to accurate, lethal and fires to fast for being one firearm...it lacks disadvantage in free aim so to speak

I don't like it (I don't even own one for either character anymore) but it shouldn't be nerfed or removed.

My heavy sniper still has the most kill-marks on the stock.

All that Coveted-grinding back in the day built up that skill and most skittering Marksmen move the same distance to each side and at the same speed. Target predictably + patience + Heavy Sniper > Marksman + PCP-like movements.

Killing one with a Musket is even sweeter, when the distance is closer.

From a PC stand point the rifle is not good at all. If you have decent aim you will kill them with heavy sniper always.

 

That is why removing content is never the best way.

 

People dont realise that the game is different when you free aim or have assisted aim/full aim.

I refuse to use it. I always use my heavy sniper. I dont want cheap kills. I want to have skilled kills. 1 loud shot with an heavy sniper bullet in the head i am more satisfied. Thank you, come again.
