This bug has been driving me insane the last few months. Every time I buy or steal a car, it appears with the crew logo on. Even if I remove it through a million different methods, it always pops back up.

 

As a car and photography crew member this is seriously affecting my enjoyment of the game!

 

If anybody has any permanent way to delete crew emblems off of cars please please please let me know!

 

And if not let's try and get people talking about this! Apparently the issue was fixed in the last two patches!!

You're spot on calling it a bug, sadly. It's been around for a loooooong time. They've had mention of it in release notes before now, saying it's fixed, but clearly it is not.

 

There have been lots of discussion from people trying to find a workaround for this issue, but nothing has proven permanent. I even had an emblem gone from a vehicle for a couple of weeks, only for it to just reappear one day. People have tried all sorts of combinations of things, and even had the emblem appear on new cars after selling the old one to try and get rid of it.

 

We're waiting on Rockstar to actually fix it, and I think that's all we can do.

Well thanks anyway. I guess I'll just have to stick to the cars I have for now and hope they fix it some time in the next year... Lol

Yeah I've been dealing with this bullsh*t for f*cking months, contacted R* support time and time again.. THEY dont have a clue how to fix it.. either that or they just don't care. It's a god damn infection! All of my most expensive cars are infected with the BUG and I didn't even put the emblem on there, when I bought the reaper with the new update, it came brand new with the infection.. probably won't ever get fixed. Might as well give up hope

Not to mention the new BUG with the emblem backgrounds being WHITE! looks even more like sh*t

This is precisely why I have retired from GTA Online as I cannot stand this bug any longer, if it ever gets fixed then I might return but no way I am spending

money on these expensive cars to have them ruined by this bug.

I have a method that guarantees a logo free vehicle. If interested I'll make a tutorial.

Well, good to know of this "bug". It seems R* seriously DOESN'T CARE at all about fixing "bugs".

Weapons you bought and you don't want them, you cannot get rid of them. Even if you throw them away, they will reappear again.

For the fifth time I raised a ticket with Rockstar support.

 

Their first answer was clear the system cache by holding the power button. Then start your Xbox and game as usual.

 

Basically, "have you tried turning it off and on again?"...

 

When I told them that this didn't work, they apologised, appreciated my patience and also, for the fifth time, that they "will look into it". Annoyingly they also marked my posts as "solved".

 

I am now assuming that this bug will never be fixed. It's just a shame that they don't seem to care.

Yes this stupid bug has cost me a lot. Before I found this method, I submitted a ticket and had a lengthy conversation with Rockstar. The latest message was me demanding a refund on my shark card purchases because that cash was used to buy bugged cars. It now personal because real cash is involved.

Thanks so much mate! I frequently send them tickets and always get the same copy/paste "We're working on it" response. It's been happening with my Slamvan Custom since it was released. I tried buying another one once, modded it up for 1,000,000+, and same thing. C* refuse to give back my hard earned cash for their dumb error.

^ same it put me over the edge when it happened to my Tyrus!

 

I've tried using BF Surfer and Elegy Swap methods with no luck.

 

I've isolated all glitched vehicles to a single garage.

 

My game plan now, is to sell them, then trade the 10 car garage in for a 2 car, thus removing the garage spots and altering the remaining 2.

 

Hopefully this cleanses my properties.

The elegy swap method has stopped working for me now. Managed to successfully gain a few nice cars, however whenever I try to fill my spare garage with Elegys they all have the emblem, tried it with about 20 Elegys now and all infected.

 

I guess it's the garage spots that are infected, so should I trade the garage maybe?
