I have a question that i should make it since my Mission Designer beginning!Why when i create a mission that reach more than 50 actors,my GTA SA turns off saying:GTA SA.EXE STOP WORKING!

Please anyone help me (this torments me since my DYOM carreer!)

The GTA SA just turn off while i am playing any part of one mission with more than 50 actors,but when its from other missions from other mission designers with more than 50 actors doesnt happens nothing!Pls help me!

Because you can only create 20 actors in one objective. If you plan to create an objective that is to add 50 actors at once, you must separate each 20 actors with a "Timeout" objective.

When I test my mission the reporter is a small little ball, and when I try to spawn some actors in an aircraft model, they just fall through the object for no reason.

 

Oh well, I won't participate because of that bug, and my mission was gonna be about a nuclear Explosion where mister John's family will be watching tv then after mister John's daughter stop watching her favourite movie, he starts watching the news, then Grace Humperking( the reporter ) will talk about the military and say that they have captured some German soldiers trying to launch a nuclear bomb in the Military base in San andreas, then The Captain will make a speech, and he will say that they are gonna take the bomb to an underwater submarine in Los Santos, and while they are flying to los santos airport, they will get ambushed by some German Jets. and while the Captain was making the speech, the aircraft was already in los santos and when the aircraft starts to fall the captain will say (EVERYBODY, YOU ONLY HAVE 60 SECONDS TO HIDE FROM THIS EXPLOSION ITS GONNA BE A MESS, SO MAKE SURE YOU GET A LOT OF FOOD AND WATER AND A GAS MASK IF YOU ARE GONNA SCAVENGE AFTER THE EXPLOSION), and then everyone will start panic and they will start pushing each other to get to a safe place and of course mister John wasn't gonna stay until him and his family dies, He told everyone to get in the shelter that is in the basement, then he will start picking up lots of supplies like water,food,map,radio,gas mask, a med kit, and an old axe. then after that he will get down before the bomb explode. and he will be lucky because there will be only 1 second before the bomb explode. he will be surprised, and he will tell his family to stay calm. and after 5 days, Mister John's son will start saying, that they are running low on supplies, so the family will panic and mister John will calm them all down, then he will make some plans to scavenge, Change the place, or do military Jobs. He will start sending out his son, then his daughter because his daughter knows how to fight, and they will keep doing military jobs,scavenging and change places for some time, and after 78 days, the military will tell everyone to meet them at a certain checkpoint, and a lot of people will go there and get the soldiers to their families, and after 103 days of madness, everything will become peaceful again.

Yep. Did everything right. I'm not a noob to dyom I'm here from 2 years bruh.

Always use two San Andreas, One

 

-Use Clean and fresh without any kind of Mod

-Use Cleo 4.1 and Hoodlum 1.0 crack fix US

 

Use first one for DYOM (Design Your Own Mission)

 

Second use another san andreas where you can add mods and play like a normal style or Samp

Not that anyone really cares, but I doubt I will be participating in this one. I just don't have any unique perceptions or visions of the apocalypse, and therefore am unable to make such a mission. I wish good luck to anyone else who does participate, though.

I guess that this respects the theme : Mafia war, or Take over because you fight on a beach and kill some useless russians and then get a coma and then get out from it after 10 years oh and actually, if someone goes in a coma his memory will be too bad, and he will be too tired and need to relax for some days, but instead, in this mission he wakes up with full energy and a good memory and all. like nothing happened. Seriously? are you for real?

Go play metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain if you want to know what does coma means.

 

And lets continue. I'm done complaining about the coma, so okay he goes into a coma for 10 years then he wakes up and meet Michael then they go to a friend of their's then they go to the russian's base and attack it then plant a bomb then parachute out.

 

Now, Now this thing makes no sense at all. you gotta make some sense.

 

I will put a list of my complains over here :

 

1. you start in a fight that was suppose to be a meeting. and you lose then the russian takes of san andreas. Really? where are the military? where are the police? seriously?

 

2. you go in a coma for 10 years then walk around without problems and get in the wardrode but see nothing then hear someone and see a gun in the wardrobe(well at least this makes some sense) then get out to see that it is your friend and he tells you that he is your friend and you trust him without even trying to memorize him. REALLY? JUST REALLY?

 

3. The english is so bad, and it doesn't make any sense and you say stuff like this : oh no more incoming, when it should be : Oh no, We got more company or Oh no, there is more coming.

 

4. What is the apocalyptic thing in this mission? the russian taking over san andreas?, I guess that is called a take over or Rule or something like that. there is nothing that involves like an explosion except people making some explosions. and to be honest people make explosions and fight each other when its a riot and people usually riot when they want to get rid of the president of their country. I would suggest you to make something like a nuclear bomb, or scientific error that spread an infected gas all of the country, or a zombie apocalypse or military soldiers killing innocent people for not getting payed well.

 

5. you kept making useless objective to get a high amount of objective to get a high rating in the variety, I guess that you should have made like 67 objectives but instead you made 100.

 

6. The mission is good according the difficulty, but a lot of Actors and most of them doesn't have the headshot option and they have 1000 health which takes like 3 minutes to kill them.

 

7. The stuff that makes sense in this mission are too little, like 85% of the mission is trash and doesn't make sense.

sh*t,i didnt think about that :/ thanks by the honest rating to open my eyes!But dude this mission isnt to be so realistic!I dont need to waste time trying to remembering who is michael!Oh and about the headshots i just think that any real human die with one shoot in the head,just that!And the objects...well maybe you are right with some of them!And that things about the police and all that sh*ts happens during the coma!

And the Sindacco`s didnt knew that the meeting was with their rivals "The Russians" so it changed to a fight!Thanks by playing and gave me your opinion :colgate:

By the way i think citzen killing each other and blowing all sh*t while the Russians are great!I guess have something to do with Apocalipse :bored:

Oh, c'mon, it's not really that bad. The concept is actually pretty good, just executed on a mediocre level. It does not actually respect the theme, which is why I don't think it should be included in the competition. It does include something you may call an 'apocalypse' but in a wider sense of word. I guess I enjoyed it because of the SMG shootouts. I love the SMG in singleplayer. However, your poor handling of the English language, sudden teleports, useless checkpoints and overpowered enemies not only make the mission harder to play, but also harder to understand.

 

 

Pros:

 

1. Good concept. Even with the small plot holes and unrealistic events, the mission has a nice background.

 

2. SMG shootouts. This is more of a personal preference, but it certainly increases the overall fun in playing the mission if good weapons are used.

 

3. Big Smoke's crack fortress. Another personal preference. Not only does shooting goons in the crack fortress bring back memories from the 'End of the Line', but the building's very architectural structure makes it fun to play the missions that take place there.

 

 

Cons:

 

1. Overpowered enemies. This is my biggest complaint against this mission. It's not nice to suddenly spawn in a swarm of goons with strong attributes (75 Accuracy and 500 Health) and be expected to deal with them without cheats (another rule breaking aspect). Armor and health pickups were a necessity in this mission, however none were present.

2. Sudden, random teleports. As mentioned above, sudden teleport to an area crawling with at least 25 goons with such attributes takes away a good portion of your health really quickly. Some other teleport objectives were also off target and random.

 

3. Useless objectives. Walking around the house for checking its status could've been done in a couple of cutscenes, not multiple checkpoints. Even though this would further increase the number of objectives, using the combination of checkpoint-cutscene or checkpoint-timeout would've slightly increased the immersion of the mission.

 

4. Bad use of player animations. I doubt many people are bothered by this, but I gotta point it out nonetheless. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the teleport objective adds the fading effect between cutscenes. A bug is present with the player animations, where if you put a player animation objective right after the teleport objective, the fading effect will not appear and will show the player in third person for a split second. This decreases the overall immersion of the mission, in my mind.

 

5. Your English. Your punctuation, grammar and spelling are pretty bad, which at times is painful to watch. This, of course, is not a deciding factor, but it is nice to play a mission where the mission language is used properly. Increases the playability, makes the mission easier to understand and just makes the mission better overall.

 

OVERALL GRADE:

2.5, C-

 

Finally, you may have noticed I sorted the pros and cons in a descending order, with the first one being the most prominent (1. in the Pros section - best feature of the mission, and 1. in the Cons section - worst feature of the mission).

You've got potential, and plenty of room for improvement, but for now, I don't think this mission should make the cut for MOTW#36. By the way, you might want to change that member title of yours for the time being. It does not describe you.

Here is my Review about your mission:

 

 

Writting = Good, (I think, you forgot, to leave spaces between the words, because the word's, are annoying me, without any spacebar, and i can't even understand.) -12

 

Difficulty = Very Hard, (Mate, you should place those actors, between more distance from the player and allies, because those enemies was so near of player, that i wasn't to kill them normally. Next Time Place some less actor and some far away from players and allies, so the designer's will easily/Normally killed them). -21

 

Placement of Actors = Bad (You just attach all those enemies together, always try different place's, so it will like a real trap, and in the HQ of those mafia's, you filled all the places, even all corner with enemies, i wasn't was able to play from there, Always Die, It was soo hard that at the last i used the cheat of Infinite Health, Next time place enemies less and at different places.) -21

 

Variety = Not Bad (So far it was good, so keep it up) +13

 

Length = Medium (Not much length) +22

 

So, that's all is my Review, my total Rate to your mission is:

 

5.5/10

It was Normal mission, so keep it up

Your mission is still in the competition, and you can still win.

 

I am also currently making a mission for this MOTW since I finally figured out what it should be about.

Do you even live pro?

 

I made it first try with no health I was surprised because the last guy in that room where you plant the bomb kept shooting me from behind until my health became _ then I got his hp to the very red and I went yolo to him and killed him but he got my hp to like nothing then I planted the bomb and went super fast on the roof and jumped and landed it.

 

And Bruno why didn't you put some Pickup instead of the smg and the useless armor. If you at least putted some health packs everyone could not have complained about the difficulty.
