Of course you can make it look a lot better, but the new effects that they've shown are done in a much better way than the modding community has ever achieved. Sure, but if there's still interest in the modding community, they'll take those new effects and use them as a template for new mods and make the game look even better. Exactly. Which is why I'm surprised so many PC master race fanboys are going around complaining that the remastered version doesn't look as good as their 20fps over saturated mess. (not talking about Nutsack McQueen btw, the majority of them are over at reddit.com/r/skyrim ) Well, I get a solid 60fps on my modded game and it looks a lot better than what we saw in that trailer, then again, my PC is on the beefier side. But yeah, I agree - if anything, we should be excited as well because it might be a shot in the arm for the modding crowd and we might get better graphics mods in the end. I remember Pete Hines once asking what people really thought after showing the game to some press and after that it kinda just dissapeared. The only reason the cancelled it was because the devs didn't want to be bought by zenimax. Fireman Posted June 13, 2016 Share Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) Prey looks pretty cool, but there's a lot of sci-fi horror lately, it's getting a bit unoriginal. Atleast, the trailer makes it look like it's sci-fi horror, while the old gameplay just looks like a shooter. I don't play TES: Online, but I play WoW and I wouldn't mind some generic, uninspired assassin missions there. More sidequests in MMO's is always good + unlimited grinding.Dishonored 2 looks like something I might play, I love the Steampunk environments and they went out of their way to design lamps and such, which is really cool. On the other hand they also just added lightning sparks to everything. Still the environments look fantastic. The characters and animations look very dated graphically though (I know, Bethesda). There were some terrible choices in that small part of gameplay, literally throwing a corpse off a building while someone is watching you do it. I like that there's a lot of things to use that aren't really required but make the game more interesting, like that alternate timeline thing, taking enemies hostage and whatever the f*ck else is going on in the gameplay trailer. I guess the guy can turn into the Darkness? I liked that even the trailer didn't really have a story to it. In fact Prey 2 looked so good, that even if they released it right now it would look as good as lets say Doom, that's in terms of graphics, not to mentioning world they created was beautiful, elements of parkour, or taking hostages among other features was awesome, just take a look at e3 2011 Prey 2 or e3 2012 Prey 2 Bounty hunter and judge it for Yourself. Human Head Studios proved to be talented, they did the best to bring fun to fps genre again. we could have had fantastic game, do You realise this ? Oh and the main character was interesting too, Killian Samuels, the Bounty Hunter. Sorry, but i wanted Prey 2 instead of this "game" they showed at e3 2016, sure they didn't show that much, maybe, i mean maybe it turns out, it's going to be interesting, but i doubt that. Main character is bland and his suiit looked like taken from DH series, no surprise here, as both games comes from very same developer, world looks uninteresting and bland, generic shooter to say the least, i heard rumours on Prey ressurecting, E3 2016 proves they were real, i was just waiting to see how it will look like, and imho they failed to show the game as promising as Prey 2 had Chance to be, and they've got nerve to talk about Prey 2 not good enough, really ?
