I could have just watched all the trailers on Youtube and got the same exact experience. I don't like Ubisoft's sad attempts at trying to entertain but I do like when devs come out to provide more insight and info about upcoming releases. Best thing had to be Days Gone, game looks great although it seems like that gameplay felt too scripted. Skylanders was a strange addition and COD is so mediocre now I cringed but I am excited for the COD4 remaster, it looks fantastic. Days Gone looked pretty cool once they showed the zombie horde part although I feel like it wasn't exactly the most exciting thing they could have ended the conference with. Didn't expect to see a Spiderman game, nice to see a licensed game developed by a talented studio. And I don't think we've really had a great Spiderman game since the PS2 days, this one looked like it might have really nailed the movement down. Not playing Kratos will be weird (if that's the internetion, it looked like it in the opening). - Days Gone: Post-apocalyptic game about a biker with a dead wife and again zombies. There's a lot of zombies this time though and they can run fast, much original.- The Last Guardian: We know this game already. Oh well, looks bad-ass still. October 25th, 2016 - Horizon Zero Dawn: We know this game already, still f*cking awesome. Shoot stuff, talk to people. Giant robot dinosaurs. Mainly the last thing. - Detroit: Become Human – Looks like it’ll be a detective sort of game, looking for evidence and convincing others through dialogue. - Resident Evil VII – Too spooky. Actually looked really good, much more of a horror feel than the last couple of Resident Evils which were just shooters. - Farpoint – Missed it, but it was something Virtual Reality. - SW Battlefront – X-Wing Virtual Reality Mission (space battle). - Batman Arkham – Virtual Reality.- FFXV – Much better showcase then earlier, good gameplay. The VR mode is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE though. Why did they even show it?- Call of Duty; Infinite Warfare - Awesome space battles, first FPS I’ve ever been interested in. Lots of abilities, skills, ways to kill and it looks incredibly fun to play. - Crash Bandicoot remasters. - Lego Star Wars; Literally the movie this time, which will mean it isn’t fun, because usually Lego games are fun because they parody the movie and reference to it a lot. - Death Stranding: Everything dies except Daryl from the Walking Dead. - Spiderman; Spiderman again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What made Sony's conference good is no filler, just games and lots of gameplay. Too much Virtual Reality though and the VR for Final Fantasy XV was probably the worst of all of E3. I don't really think it was better or worse than the others. The announcements that were made weren't that great. Gamewise Sony wins but conference-wise I'd give it a 7/10 again. Days Gone had that TLOU vibe (almost thought it was a prequel to Joel's story lol) and I like how the player can use the environment to fight off a horde. Really excited for that new Spiderman, Detroit: Become Human, and Crash Bandicoot coming back. I was still cringing at the COD:IW. It looked nice but we all know that **** is not gonna be in MP.
