SSXs back in the day were nice games, and now what we have is an SSX with open world and proximity flying as a bonus. There aren't many games like this around. Gameplay was scripted as f*ck. March 7th 2017. We already knew this game though. - Fractured Butt Whole; Looks like a lot of fun, Stick of Truth was a bit too short and had no repetition value, hoping this one does. Not really an announcement, much like Wildlands.- The Division; Underground, again. We already know this, it was planned. See above. The Division is in a terrible state (I know this, because I play it) releasing more content without fixing the core won't change anything.- Eagleflight; Virtual Reality, capture the flag with birds. Eh?- Star Trek: Bridge Crew; Virtual Reality for several players, cool idea, but is only cool ‘cause it’s new. Looks like it has practically no gameplay, still looks like it’ll be fun to play for the first time. Levar Burton tho. - For Honor; Fantastic trailer, gameplay looks like fun. Hack’n’slashing Dark Soul style but on a bigger scale and less punishing. Not enough gore though. February 14th 2017. Already saw this last year. - Grow Up; I honestly don't know what to say about this. It looks bad and what the f*ck else is there to say?. - Trials of the Blood Dragon; Looks like a great version of Trials, with additional gameplay to leaning left and right, which is great. - Watch Dogs 2: Looks good, characters are pretty annoying and generic but the gameplay itself is good, stealth looks semi-functional, though I wish we had some more sophisticated hacks instead of oversized drones. - Steep: New IP, wingsuiting, paragliding, snowboarding and skiing in one game. Looks promising, seems to depend heavily on user-created content, hope they will add something of their own to the game, like a campaign/career mode. The level design is amazing. I quite enjoyed Ubisoft, despite it being awkward as usual. Nothing really put me off except for Grow Up and Eagleflight (stupid idea for VR). Fractured Butt Whole, Trials of the Blood Dragon, Watch Dogs 2, For Honor and Steep all look like games I'd like to play. Not a lot of announcements but I'd still give it a 7/10. X S Posted June 14, 2016 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Phil Spencer confirms that Project Scorpio is a "high end" platform device, much like an iPhone 4 and 4S would be. The rumor was that Sony decided not to show the 4 teraflop "Neo" console at their conference. Not sure what that means, or because they've decided to go back to the drawing board because Xbox's would much more powerful. I have to admit I'm highly skeptical of all of this. 6 teraflops puts the console at the performance level of a GTX 1070, so PC is still more powerful, given that the GTX 1080 can do 9 teraflops. We're living in some interesting times in the industry. I'm gonna hold off on buying an XB1 Slim and wait for the "Scorpio", along with anything Sony plans unveiling.
