Cool ... I used "TROPHY" (gameName) to get the names from the GXT, but I see now "TROPHYTRUCK" (modelName) is what's used to spawn them.

Ahh, I decompiled the shop_controller(dont have all natives translated but I have most of them) and I was looking if there was another way thats more update safe to disable the car despawning. Didnt find a simple one though :'(

2566708/0x272A34 is definitely correct, maybe you're checking against the wrong game version, it should be GameVer 24 or 25 when you set this global variable

GameVer is 25, you're right, maybe I made a small mistake in code, I'll try again.

STREAMING::IS_MODEL_IN_CDIMAGE(model)

All models are stored in a hash map. It would be relatively easy to create something to traverse the hash map, but i cant imagine it would be very fast considering there are 65617 entries in the list and those include possibly more than just entity models.

Do you think it possible to get the list of vehicle from the game's CDIMAGE in run-time? after all, we can only spawn a vehicle if the vehicle model is in CDIMAGE through checking with the function below

Scratch that, Making something to search the hash map is a pretty simple and fast job, and works perfectly. Was able to dump all vehicle models(including regular DLC and addon DLC vehicles) to a file. This is written using c++/cli, but just change the managed arrays/lists to unmanaged or vectors to use with native c++

How many vehicles did you get?

I use the vehicles.meta files to generate my list, and I have 452 vehicles as of 791.2.

Curious if the vehicles.meta will have less or more than what you were able to find in memory.

I get 452 as well, but If addon cars are present, those will be included aswell. Are you extracting from the vehicles.meta files at runtime to generate the list at runtime, or just generate them ahead of time.

I am generating ahead of time, as I prepare a vehicles.lua file for updating the GTALua project.

So once an update is released I re-read all the vehicles.meta available and generate my list.

Anyone figured how to remove the "pibwasser" livery / decal at the top of the Tyrus front window? Seems to be there permanently inside the vehicle model.

It is fixed in the model indeed. When I saw the DirectX model inside OpenIV I thought: "Oh noooooo...."
