[Ambient]
Lemme win the gold shovel award this year, because it's the only topic that fits the purpose of making ideas for in-GTA TV shows. Inter-Dimensional Adventures of Rodney, Sarah & Tim "What can happen if LSD, weed and Internet addiction team up? A series of extramundane journeys full of jokes only the show's creators (and several other nerds) understand!" Channel: Any Mates (also available on Showflicker). Genre: Adult animation, comedy, sci-fi. Based on: Rick & Morty. Count of seasons: 3 (5 episodes per season). Plot: In the fictional, Alderney State-based town of Slim Jim Ridge, a 23-years-old "free-spirited", unemployed and addicted to weed Sarah Milton, and a lazy 14-years-old kid with off-color humor and an additction to some quite popular messaging app named Tim Milton live with their 70-years-old grandfather, inventor, scientist and ex-hippie (who still loves taking LSD) named Rodney "Timothy" Leary III since Sarah and Tim's parents (Amanda Gilligan-Milton and Justin Milton) died in an airplane crash 2 years ago. Since the duo of Sarah and Tim started to live with their grandpa, Tim's stopped going to school and Sarah's started to feel free from living as a regular adult. However, Rodney takes them on a series of various adventures in random universes, while using his customized Surfer as the interdimensional mean of transport. No matter how hard each journey will be, and how close Rodney will be to losing his grandkids, "The Not-So-Complete Family that Works Together" always succeed, even if it means the death or severe mutation of half of Slim Jim Ridge. Sometimes, however, the adventures happen in the town of Slim Jim Ridge, Planet Earth when Rodney takes too much his lovely drug and ends up transforming himself into the biggest vibrator the USA has ever seen or uses a time travelling machine to take the whole town back to the late 1960's. Comments on Classic Vinewood: theonlyoneboss420 - "Finally a show for true intellectuals, for those who show some interest in science and other meaningful things, rather than go to gym, parties or just socialize in general!" - 10/10 stars xLordSlayerx - "I wonder how many people got the joke about Poo-ooP Aliens from S2E3. If some nice lady got it, send me your photo on DM, sweetie <3" - 9/10 stars elenab526 - "Showflicker recommended me this one after I finished "Borderline Kendrick - A Moose With Borderline" and... WHAT IS THAT? How come people find Tim and Rodney funny? All they do is cracking bad "jokes" about sex, drugs and Sarah's looks. I just don't get what's so intellectual about this show... And HOW THE f*ck COME someone thinks that one meme episode about Rodney the Vibrator is the peak comedy of 2010's adult animation? I like the art style though." - 4/10 stars jimmyds - "Damn, this show is FIRE!!! I really dig that episode about zombie prostitutes from Los Santos dude!! Reminds me of "Vinewood Zombie", because of those hot, hot, HOTTTTTTT bonkers!" - 10/10 stars methegentleman - "An SJW detector. 'Nuff said." - 8/10 stars Julia the Outsider "She's only a teen and she thinks she knows more about the world around her than anyone else. Oh, maybe expect some other chick that's able to understand our special girl Julia..." Channel: MeTV (re-run; original broadcast started in 1996 and ended in 1999). Genre: Adult animation, comedy, teen drama. Based on: Daria. Count of seasons: 3 (4 episodes per season). Plot: A rebllious and angsty Julia Lyndon keeps living with her mom (Kayla), dad (Francis) and 11-years-old triplets (Willy, Walter & Watson) in the self-described "hell where eternal suffering is in the guise of national values, made up moral compasses, and hot dogs with less mustard than 7 years ago" aka the most boring and generic suburb in the whole Midwest - Tumore Bay. For most of her life, she was a misunderstood loner whose radically progressive political views, interests in niche films and music, and the most eccentric dialogues in the whole history of MeTV's adult animation roster were her way of defense against nearly everyone else until the day when the Morroway family moved from Canada to Tumore Bay just to buy a house 500, or so, yards away from the Lyndons. When Julia starts another year at Tumore Bay's Modern High, she meets Dorothy Morroway - an equally cynical, another angst-fueled social outcast who, as the events of the show progress, turns out to provide Julia more than just a deeper friendship - a future crush that leads Julia to question her sexuality, a band member to start a post-experimental technical industrial noise punkgaze with, or someone to eat salt-flavored chips with while watching experimental 1950's Italian movies. Comments on Classic Vinewood: laylaxo - "In these trying times for America, we need more young people like Julia - individuals who are not afraid to show their true side." - 9/10 stars theONLYalpha - ""Julia the Outsider" is probably THE WORST show MeTV ever made. It's full of toxic, feminist, Zionist and just straight communist propaganda that's somehow still put into teenage girls' heads. Don't let me start on the episode in which Julia comes out in front of her history teacher as AN ATHEIST!! Atheism, feminism and nearly every value Julia (as well as Dorothy) represent is a THREAT TO AMERICA!!!" - 1/10 stars craigcraig - "Great 90s nostalgia, back when MeTV played real music and had great cartoons! Now, it's all about plastic, trap-crap and sh*tty shows that don't even reflect actual problems of the youth." - 7/10 stars zackymaboy - "2 first seasons were great, then someone decided to introduce Riley. Firstly, she divided the whole "Julia the Outsider" fandom, because of one goddamn hug. Secondly, Riley felt fake by talking about how much the world sucks every single 4 seconds. Thirdly, she nearly ruined Julia's friendship with Dorothy, also because of that one goddamn hug (though, there's one positive from that - Julia and Dorothy ended up as a good couple)." - 6/10 stars BethInTheRoomOfLight - "Julia Lyndon is, for me, the most relatable fictional character I've seen in any TV show or movie I have ever watched. I have felt this feeling the most during the last episode of the 3rd season." - 9/10 stars CRAZY AL WARD, Zenit, B00N-BRAND0N and 1 other

AlexGTAGamer
If a GTA were to ever return to London/anywhere in England (wishful thinking, I know) these are some TV programmes that I envision: The Debators Dome “Because violence always solves everything.” Based on: Question Time Channel: BTC - Britannia Television Corporation Based on: BBC One Genre: News. Opinion. Entertainment. Type: Live-action. Plot: On the Debator’s Dome guests from the world of politics and media are welcomed onto the show to answer questions from the general public on the day’s hottest issues… …and then fight to the death to assert who has the most dominant opinion. Watch as Mrs. Pemberton, an 83 year old former social worker who now lives in a nursing home, takes Member of Parliament Ewan McShane to task over his support of the America-Australia War. Followed by the topic everyone is talking about… Are the Scottish to blame for the rise in Council tax? Local builder Harry thinks so, and goes toe-to-toe in the ring with two journalists over this matter. Homes After The Slammer Based on: Homes Under The Hammer. DIY SOS. Home makeover shows in general. Channel: BTC - Britannia Television Corporation Based on: BBC One Genre: Reality. Home makeover. Feel good. Type: Live-action. Plot: Eddie Bromley (parody of Charles Bronson), Jason “Tweaker” Thatch (token drug addict) and Muriel Hinckley (parody of Myra Hindley) work with families to design their forever homes. Will these three ex-prisoners design palaces from heaven, or sh*tholes from hell, for the families? This particular featured episode sees the Dawson family work with Eddie, Jason and Muriel in designing and building their forever home in the British seaside town of Bromley-on-Sea (parody of all British seaside towns). The show is filled with drama and arguments throughout, eventually ending with Mr. Dawson being buried alive under the patio in the garden by Eddie, Muriel attempting to kidnap the Dawson’s children, and Jason turning the guest bedroom of the household into the hottest drugs den in all of Bromley-on-Sea. Council Estate Makeover Based on: Extreme Makeover. Design makeover shows in general. Channel: CTV - Controlled Television. Based on: ITV. Genre: Reality. Fashion. Feel good. Type: Live-action. Plot: Individuals who have found themselves in a fashion disaster - but are too cheap to afford a proper stylist - appeal for help from the Council Estate and get proper street styled. Innit fam. This featured episode sees father of two David - who has reached a midlife crisis - seek help to not only regain his lost youth, but also to get down with the youths blud, so as to feel better connected with his children and a world that has passed him by and left him more dazed and confused than an Alzheimer’s patient on LSD. Council Estate residents Tyrone (who is head of a county lines drug running gang), Becky (a pregnant 16 year old mother) and Elliot (the local drunk), style David in the hottest stolen gear and attempt to build up his street cred. The episode ends with David getting arrested for trying to move ketamine supplied to him by Tyrone. Ivan1997GTA
^ You might wanna give that anime a more fictional parody name instead of just reusing the Bleach name. Magical Family: More Magic Based on: The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder "Double the godkids, double the trouble." Showflicker (Based on: Netflix) Sitcom, Children Live-action "A reboot of a show that very few people asked for." Plot: Taking place years after the original cartoon series, an older Drake Drummond lends his old fairy godparents to his cousin Layla and a handicapped autistic kid named Earl, who's her half-brother. As Drake leaves for college, Layla and Earl have their adventures together with their fairy godparents, who grant wishes that are nearly always guaranteed to backfire. Comments on Classic Vinewood: craigcraig - "Does anyone think that the new fairy looks kinda hot, or is it just me?" - 6/10 stars traceyds - "Fun fact: I once auditioned for the role of Drake's babysitter, since I was a huge fan of the original show, but when I found out that my character was going to be in a romantic relationship with his school teacher who's more than twice as old, I walked out and they recast me with someone else. I think I made the right call." - 4/10 stars StrangeMrExit - "Who on Earth asked for this?! Hasn't the original show suffered enough already in its last two seasons? Plus, they didn't seem to learn anything from the criticisms of the original. If this is the Magical Family reboot, then I dread to think what the Ecto-Leslie reboot would be like." - 1/10 stars onlysapient - "They should've let the original show end after the "TV Troublemakers" special, and this show should've had Drake's kids as the main protagonists, not his cousin and her half-brother with poor excuses for backstories. I've read fanfictions that have less convoluted plot elements than this." - 2/10 stars AlmondDude540 - "We get it, Peter Moorecock, you hate gay and autistic people. Also, whoever let that clown work on this series after he already ruined the original show and robbed people with his PARAXIS crowdfunding campaign should've been fired. And knock it off with that laugh track." - 3/10 stars The Brown Streak: The Animated Series Based on: Batman: The Animated Series and Spider-Man: The Animated Series "Something stinks, but in a good way." Weazel (Based on: FOX; original broadcast started in 1993 and ended in 1998) Count of seasons: 4 (5 episodes per season; the fourth season is known as The Brown Streak's New Adventures). Action, Drama, Superhero Cartoon "A fecal matter-themed superhero sounds like a recipe for disaster, right? You'd be proven wrong." Plot: Mitch Moffat was a chemist at Cottonmouth College, until one day, he ended up in a freak accident when someone pulled a prank on him by hitting him with a feces-filled balloon while he was carrying chemicals, turning Mitch into the Brown Streak. He initially is conflicted on using fecal matter-based powers, but after the murder of his uncle Stan, he decided to use them to fight evildoers. In order to maintain his superhero image, Mitch has to keep a bad hygeine, so he has to choose between living a healthy civilian lifestyle, or be a superhero with a foul stench that strikes fear in Cottonmouth's criminals. His foes include the Plunger, a former CEO of a detergent company who's germaphobic and likes to keep himself very clean, Stray Doglady, Mitch's ex-girlfriend and occasional ally who's turned on by Mitch's unhygeinic lifestyle, lives in a pigsty of an apartment and owns a few stray dogs, Doughhead, a former actor-turned-criminal who can shapeshift into anyone he chooses to be, and the Walrus, an overweight gangster with sea animal based motives. That said, Mitch has a few allies of his own, including Swallow, his kid sidekick, a family of superheroes known as the Questionable Quartet, and Commissioner Ditko of the CPD. Comments on Classic Vinewood: xLordSlayerx - "Take a shot every time you see a reused animation shot." - 6/10 stars BrownStreak4EVA - "Now that's you make an animated series based on the Brown Streak. Somehow, I don't think any future shows starring him could top this one, even if they were good in their own right." - 10/10 stars somethingsumting - "This show's a real time capsule from the 90s. I love it! I do wish that they didn't redesign the Plunger or Stray Doglady when the show got revived as 'The Brown Streak's New Adventures', they looked like utter freaks in that season. Plus, I wish they didn't kill off Doughhead's kind half, and let Clown Carly be permanently redeemed." - 9/10 stars RossyGarden - "I don't really get why people call this show the best interpretation of the Brown Streak. If you ask me, I find this series a tad bit overrated. I'll stick to the movies, except for the one where the Brown Streak carries a credit card with him and fight a snow-themed villain who constantly spouts puns. That said, this show at least makes good use of toilet humor." - 7/10 stars GurningChimpsFanboy - "The pinnacle of superhero cartoons. Way better than that other Number Two Comics cartoon, Impotent Rage." - 8/10 stars Edited May 20 by Ivan1997GTA sabitsuki and VenusianDream
