Table in topic creating big gap

Why is this happening when I create a table that is on row per row?

And how can I fix it without having the table being in 1 straight line instead of split up so I can easier edit it?

The only way I know to fix it is putting it all in one straight line - but to make it easier to edit I just put it in a notepad document, so that if you want to make changes you change the notepad document then paste it in the edited post and remove the lines.

 

It's a bit more finicky than having split lines not making gaps in the first place, but it's the only solution I know of.

• Select all the text (Ctrl+A/cmd+A).

Click the Light switch thing (next to the eraser) and switch to BBcode
