Forgot the Windsor in my last voting... ( Enus +1), and even though i like Porsche, i believe Pfister doesn't do it justice. Yes, the Comet is a nice car & i'd like a Pfister Meteor (Porsche 918), but i'll still downvote Pfister. Why? Because there is just one vehicle, and it barely has any modifications. Can't even take off the spoiler, to make it look like the IV Comet. The score seems grossly overrated for this one-car-brand & Pfister is a bad representation of Porsche so far. (Pfister -2)

There are some brands here that have an obvious chance of winning, and some that obviously shouldn't. Before deciding which of the obvious winners should win (if you know what I mean), I think the obvious losers should go down.


Zirconium make two pretty horrible vehicles. Mammoth make the Hydra and Dodo (I know, it's not really about aircraft, but I'm mainly here to pick off the rubbish brands at the moment).

It's a fair point, as much as I like the Comet it is borderline ridiculous that it's the only Pfister car, I think most people agree that it's the brand that's in the greatest need of more cars. A classic version would be a good start.

 

Also yeah the spoiler is a bit annoying and might suggest a lack of thought or effort. Surely it must have occurred to them that a lot of people would take it off if they could.

Well, i can't disagree, i basically LIKE Pfister as it has much potential, and as i said, i'd like much more of it. But right now, it just pretty much s*cks. One car, without modifications. Just bad. Add a Meteor & more mods for the Comet, a classic Comet (911) & i'd gladly vote for it. Meanwhile, there are so many brands with more cars & more mods, earning those points. This is why i've been downvoting Pfister.

I know people love to hate the adder on here, but surely it should be lasting longer than cars like the stratum, habanero, anything from dundreary and the ingot.

@jenkiii, I don't like Pegassi because I love Lamborghini. Even though I've learned to appreciate the Zentorno since the douchebags moved on to the T20, the infernus and Vacca are downright disgraces. Slap in the face to my beloved Murcielago, and the Gallardo Spider.

Pegassi isn't my absolute favourite, mate, just a very good car that shouldn't be getting hated on at this stage of the game.

 

And you're forgetting the historic value of the Infernus, which was the absolute king of GTA IV racing along with the Comet in the supercar class. Hard to believe now, but true.

Well I didn't play IV, so my judgment isn't clouded by history. I see it for what it is now, which is historically ugly. Lol. Then again, that's how I see most of gta cars. No übermacht feels like a BMW. Benefactor looks like a Dollar General version of Mercedes. So many insults to their real life counterparts. It's why I'm not a fan of these fake, poorly designed, wrong sized, gta cars. This game is really tough for me. I don't have enough down votes to go around. Lol

Armored Kuruma is cancer.


C'mon dude, Karin is much more than the armoured Kuruma, they have plenty of awesome cars, including some awesome JDM knockoffs.

And make me believe you DO NOT own the Kuruma...

 

 

Besides, the Kuruma is a Maibatsu anyways.

 

Someone at Rockstar has down's and decided Karin was the brand for no reason. I will never acknowledge the Kuruma as a Karin (don't get me wrong, I love Karins).

I know that Karin makes sh*tty cars like the Asterope and the BeeJay, but they also have amazing cars like the Sultan that everybody loves, the Futo, the Kuruma (both of them, because the armored one is very useful in heists/missions), the Intruder, the Rebel (kinda) and the Dilettante above all, so we can forgive them, right?

 

On the other hand, Grotti has the Turismo R which spins out at the smallest bump, the Cheetah which is plain disgusting. The Carbonizzare is great, but I got tired of it shortly after the first time I drove it, it was just lacking something and I don't like the back, and finally they have the Stinger which is actually awesome (mainly the GT one). Grotti isn't as good in V as it was in previous games, so they don't deserve to be so high imo.

 

 

 

Enus is pure class. What good does Imponte nake aside from the Dukes?

In short, the Ruiner sounds and looks great. The shakotan exhausts on it look awesome. It's also very competitive in its class.

The Phoenix is also fun to drive, plus the Dodge-Daytona-style spoiler looks awesome on it.

The Nightshade looks great, and sounds even better. What's not to like about a Camaro Z28 from the 70's? It's a shame it handles the way it does in V.

Some classic American muscle cars can be worth as much as a European luxury car. Sure it depends on model, condition, iconicness, etc but still.

Crap Stratum, its a hipster's car, horrible performance, looks horrible, and it needs to die ASAP! Übermatchs are boring and drive nothing like BMWs and there's like 5 of em.

 

C'mon Cadillacs are awesome and they make interesting, diverse and fun cars like Mañana (side flame car) Cavalcade (Trunk stereo car) The Roosevelt, Virgo, Primo and more

I have to say I'm not a fan of the Stratum, I've tried to like it several times as it reminds me of a Skyline but the handling is plain and if there is an engine sound I haven't heard it. Lacks any sort of character.

 

+ for the F620, beautiful looking car, feisty handling and the engine sounds like an angry hornets nest.

Mammoth above Gallivanter... well, atleast i like the Dodo. Don't have to say anything about the Hydra & the Patriot seems like a chinese variant of the IV's original. Less heavy, but less powerful aswell, resulting in no ramming power & just average offroad capability. Its a city SUV, like the Dubsta. Just with far less modification, and either a bumper OR rooflights. Mammoths stock definitely going downhill since 2008, since Army dropped them.

 

What can i say about Gallivanter. They only have two Ballers aswell, without many mods. One looking similar to 2008's Huntley & a more moden 2013 variant. But i prefer them to the Patriot, and there are armored versions of the Ballers 2013's model aswell. Can't vote yet, but heres my reason for tomorrows pick.

The list was posted at the end of the last game and discussed a bit before this thread was created. In the original post I did acknowledge that there may be some brands missing. But the game is already underway so we'd have to include it in a future game.
