Warehouses/New Property Slot

In the newest post on the Newswire it mentions the word Warehouse. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this refers to something that will be part of our HQ. There was no new mention of a potential 6th property slot being added in any of the new updates. The HQ will most likely be like the Yacht and not count toward your property total.

 

Do you think the Warehouses will be part of the HQ or a large space to fill with our own custom cars?

 

And do you think we could see an additional property slot added in coming months?

The new warehouse might just be something that you can use during the VIP time, therefore, it's not a real player house, and you can't store cars in it. Which I hope not, because you only have, what, 4 hours VIP time? And a 12 hour wait time.

October - not too long ago. I'd imagine the people that struggle with 50 vehicle slots (per character) are in a minority. More is good, though, but not a necessity.

I can barely comprehend having that many cars, I stick to ten, they sometimes overflow into other properties so about 12/13 actual modded cars, the rest in other properties are just unmodded ones for messing around.

Most people don't think like that. As soon as another property slot is available, they instantly fill it up with their wishlist/backlog, even just messing around with new options. I find car collecting one of the most enjoyable aspects of GTA online and would welcome enough space for 200 vehicles.

I kind of wonder how this part of the update will work. Currently, we can only be VIPs for 4 hours and when that time expires, it's like it never happened. Soon we will be able to warehouse stolen goods. Will we somehow still be a pseudoVIP able to mess around with our goods or will it all be kept track of behind the scenes until we can actually register to be a VIP again picking up where we left off?

I think this might be the game changing update we have longed for. I think we will see something substantial in order to make this work. I'll bet this is what Rockstar had been developing since we have not seen a major update in 5 months.

anythign we have to ponder the complexity of (heists, for example) is probably hell on wheels to program.

If we can't wonder about it, then what's the point of this thread? Oh yeah, I forgot, people have to nitpick and call all my posts autistic followed by sending me private messages calling me all kinds of horrible names and wishing me a gorey, violent death like mrki47684 did - who is no longer with us in this forum. This is the first forum I have ever seen when you can get your head split open (quoting mrki47684) for saying there won't be a Story Mode DLC, because Online is where the developer make its money. I think my mate has quite a lot, not sure how many, but the ones he doesn't drive he refers to as trophies.

I do have a few cars I regret selling now come to think of it.

I have one hundred cars, and could easily think of 20-30 more would snap up if i had room. I'm not even strictly a racer/collector, try telling those guys we don't need another garage slot..

I see no need for 20-30 more slots of storage, even 10 is plenty. Maybe that's b/c I have two characters though, and it is admittedly part of why I created a second guy.

The last one was in december with executive and other criminal(5th property). I remember my friends were selling cars before the update to make some place cause we just had the 4th property with lowriders(after a long time of not getting new one), so my friend were guaranteed we were not getting a new one that soon. Apparently waiting to see what happen when the update dropped was the right decision.

I only ever maintained 1 property. Two slots for vehicles remain open since 10car garages.

My point of quoting is why so many filled apartments + garages? for myself, it's no bother about R* adding/not adding more apartments + garage spaces, I struggle maxing out a single 10 space garage.

 

Car enthusiast? Car Collector? Banked millions and nothing else to waste the cash on? Crew you're in only race? Car shows? Duping, haha.

 

Maybe I'm fussy and only into cars that I actually drive and don't see the point stocking up and wasting $ (even if I got millions) on more properties + garages. I'm curious why you guys (and other players if want to answer) max or can max apartment + garage slots out in full...

I think the warehouse you'll be able to store the vehicles that you get to use while a VIP, such as the turreted limo

Have you ever considered locating all your rental properties in a single location? I found that to be a game changer personally.

As per usual the language used by Rockstar is vague. It's very suggestive that the HQ and warehouse are one single property, but it isn't definitive. However, there is a leaked photo that proves it's 2 properties, but they're side-by-side. This is the first leaked photo of both HQ & warehouse...

I think you wrong, they not in the minority. I am not a car buff, and I am maxed out on my primary character and i have had to sell some for new cars. I would imagine car buffs and there are probably quite a few out there will definitely struggle a lot. Sure I don't need all the cars I have, but I like the ones I do own and I have 50 of them .. I have things like the lifeguard ATV, I don't need it, but I like it. I don't have all the supercars, but if I did, I wouldn't have enough space.

Personally, i've got enough space (2 characters) for now. But if they add more vehicles, it could change quickly... about the 'warehouses', we don't really now anything, apart from this: They're not seperate places, they're right along with your HQ. We have apartments & they've got garages. I'd imagine it like this: Our HQ is a regular luxury apartment with a special room, like the Heist room, just looking like an office. Here we can order & sell stuff, like buying jewelry, drugs & so on. Which get delivered to your warehouse, acting like a garage of the HQ. Thing is, we need to escort our shipment/order from other VIPs, and these warehouses can be attacked & your stuff stolen by them.

 

Maybe we'll get a few scripted missions like Lowriders aswell, acting like a tutorial, building it all up. And our personal assistant, he can be called if we want to order something from abroad. This is, how i imagine this update.
