Warehouses/New Property Slot

In the newest post on the Newswire it mentions the word Warehouse. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this refers to something that will be part of our HQ. There was no new mention of a potential 6th property slot being added in any of the new updates. The HQ will most likely be like the Yacht and not count toward your property total.

 

Do you think the Warehouses will be part of the HQ or a large space to fill with our own custom cars?

 

And do you think we could see an additional property slot added in coming months?

Additional properties will undoubtedly unlock at some point.

 

As for what they will be, I'm just going to wait and see. I try to never raise my expectations too much.

I hope you don't have to choose whether you own a yacht OR a warehouse. IIRC. there was mention of R☆ allowing you to sell your yacht at some point in the future. I hope this doesn't mean you have to trade one for the other.

My Spidey-sense agrees with this.

It will be a property with specific abilities (like the yachts) but not part of the "Conventional properties" like the houses/apartments/garages/penthouses.

However, it would not surprise me if a 6th conventional slot was opened. I know I'm not the only player with 5 full (or nearly full) garages.

You know how there's yachts? You spent 10M and you can goto it like a property. You can start a unique job there and there's a series of employees and services.

 

Now there will be yachts and headquarters.

 

You will spent enough money that people will bitch about it for a glorified land-yacht-property. There may be extra vehicles linked to it, but not a garage like you want. There will be anger about that too. Sharkcards, obviously, etc. You will have employees there, like the yacht's bartender and captain. One will probably be a secretary/assistant/ombudsman.

 

There will be new VIP missions. One, or more, will center around the HQ.

 

There will be three tiers, plus customization options like yachts. Dunno about locations. Maybe like yachts it's a random warehouse or office around the map since you can't have two VIPs with the same HQ point.

 

And it'll be as good an update as VIP/yachts was.

When you register as a VIP you will be able to select from different locations to use each time. You probably won't even be able to buy them.

 

Maybe after your 4 hour timer is up the products go in storage or something.

I kind of wonder how this part of the update will work. Currently, we can only be VIPs for 4 hours and when that time expires, it's like it never happened. Soon we will be able to warehouse stolen goods. Will we somehow still be a pseudoVIP able to mess around with our goods or will it all be kept track of behind the scenes until we can actually register to be a VIP again picking up where we left off?

I think this might be the game changing update we have longed for. I think we will see something substantial in order to make this work. I'll bet this is what Rockstar had been developing since we have not seen a major update in 5 months.

it would make sense considering th efact that you have to speculate so much on it.

 

anythign we have to ponder the complexity of (heists, for example) is probably hell on wheels to program.

A newswire post talks about a warehouse in the context of contraband operations for an organisation, so it is very literally a house for wares. Of course the first topic that pops up is about how much garage space it will have.

As per usual the language used by Rockstar is vague. It's very suggestive that the HQ and warehouse are one single property, but it isn't definitive. However, there is a leaked photo that proves it's 2 properties, but they're side-by-side. This is the first leaked photo of both HQ & warehouse...
