Weapon recoil in regular gameplay was non existant until GTA V (though it is very minimal in V) Edit: I forgot GTA 3's and VC's M16/M4 in manual aim mode. On PC at least (I don't know if you can do it on consoles), shooting without aiming (shooting with LMB only or any keyboard button, without holding RMB/aiming button), the weapons are always pin point accurate. Though, this method of shooting is unreliable for most weapons if you're not crouching because weapons are always aimed at head level, while when you're crouching, the weapons are aimed at the torso/stomach. Weapons that are effective at shooting while standing are: SPAS-12 (at all weapon skill levels, as it is always fired from the hip) Minigun (though the minigun doesn't have any bulletspread regardless) Pump Shotgun, MP5, AK-47 and M4 (at Poor weapon skill level only, once you reach Gangster weapon skill level, shooting without aiming becomes unreliable as CJ switches holding positions from the Hip to Shoulder) Edited May 12, 2016 by B Dawg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
