Crew level

I honestly shouldn't be surprised at just how broken and hopeless GTA has become remained...

 

So anyway, I joined a new crew with an emblem I want to use on my car, but my crew level will not go up no matter what I do.

 

Seems like a common issue (astounding surprise) with which Rockstar support has been all but useless with assisting.

 

Just wondering if anyone here knows how to fix this.

Social club says I'm crew level ten.

Online I'm crew level one.

My friend said that I appeared as crew level 8, then 9 while we were doing missions in the player join screen.

Now in free mode though he sees me as crew level 1 again.

I was going to post the exact same thing.Few minutes ago we noticed that my crewmate buddy's level never goes up in crew.He also wants to use crew logo on cars but the broken game says he is still level 3 which is not true.

This is an old problem.

How many crews are you part of?

IIRC, while you can join up to 5 crews, but you can only progress in them if you have 3 or less, or only the first 2-3 on your list allow progress or something. Technically, it's a Social Club problem, but it's still Rockstar's issue to fix. I was in a crew and couldn't rank-up but I left one crew that I never did anything with and that fixed the problem.

I know,he is stuck in same situation.It's like his leveling up process is locked there.I tried demoting him to a lower member status,didn't work.Next time he is going to try changing his active crew,I don't know if it's going to work,I don't think so.

I'm part of five, but inactive in two.

 

Have yet to hear of this problem.

I don't pay much attention to crew levels so I never noticed if my levels were going up or staying stagnant.

 

So, I quit two crews. Gonna check tomorrow if I can level, but can't get to it right now.

I had one that I was stuck on in-game, recently left another crew and the one that was stuck started making in-game progress again.

Yep had this also. Dropped down to two crews and the level was working again.

There's also another glitch with crew levels where, even if you just joined a new crew, you don't start at level 1 like normal. It just puts your level the same as the last crew you had active.

 

Had it happen a few months ago when I was trying out different crew colors and I kept having to level up in the first 2 crews I joined, but was instantly crew rank 10 in the 4th and 5th crews I joined.
