Was just thinking how cool it would be to use the Marlowe Vineyard as a HQ maybe like say the Wine business is only there to hide the real reason why it operates. So I was thinking maybe there could be other money loudering type properties but any of this is highly unlikely

You know how there's yachts? You spent 10M and you can goto it like a property. You can start a unique job there and there's a series of employees and services.

 

Now there will be yachts and headquarters.

 

You will spent enough money that people will bitch about it for a glorified land-yacht-property. There may be extra vehicles linked to it, but not a garage like you want. There will be anger about that too. Sharkcards, obviously, etc. You will have employees there, like the yacht's bartender and captain. One will probably be a secretary/assistant/ombudsman.

 

There will be new VIP missions. One, or more, will center around the HQ.

 

There will be three tiers, plus customization options like yachts. Dunno about locations. Maybe like yachts it's a random warehouse or office around the map since you can't have two VIPs with the same HQ point.

 

And it'll be as good an update as VIP/yachts was.

I think they are going to make these headquarters like they do with the yachts. You have probably many locations on the map like many places you can dock your yacht. Depending on the session and where other HQ's are located at...your HQ can be anywhere and acts like a property. I think you can do everything you can in an apartment minus living headquarters.

 

There will probably be an office inside and a warehouse like Benny's where you can walk around and do stuff.

Hopefully the Finance and Felony update could pave the beginning of more Interiors in GTA Online because i would love to raid many buildings with NPCs. this is why i hope we can hire NPC's to protect our HQ and we get to invest in their weapon equipment and features such as a reinforcement beacon or turreted loaded NPC's. my jaw would drop if we could also have juggernaut NPC's near the center of our HQ's kind like as final bosses to get the merchandise.but thats far fetched for Rockstar but if we request it they should be able to add it with no problem.

I hope they are not going to let people create these stunt tracks on free mode. The GTA world will look horrible with them littered around the city. Imagine just driving along and hitting a ramp that is not suppose to be there.

The warehouse is part of the HQ. I imagine it will be a interior that is hidden under the map, sorta like the garage.

Guys, I don't think its that building. The view doesn't look right. Here is a better shot from inside the one I'm speculating it is. The cursor in the middle is below the little sliver we see out the window in Rockstar's screenshot. The angles look more accurate to me.

NOTE TWO THINGS:

1. Rockstar can have the dept of field turned up in their screen, so the building may appear closer than it actually is.

2. Though I'm on the PC version, and have the draw distance at max, through modifying the settings file with a text editor, higher draw distances can be achieved. It is possible that Rockstar is using a higher draw distance.

 

Edit: It is also possible that the HQ is in the same building as the apartment in this area.

I think they HQ will function in a similar manner to apartments and garages. Instead of the apartment/garage it's a HQ luxury office space and warehouse/store room, and the SecorServ computer is the equivalent of the heist board. If players can own the same apartment/garage spaces, there's no reason players can own the same HQ. It's not like the HQ's have to be separate properties like the yachts. If we can raid another players warehouse and there's multiple HQ's in the same building, we'd likely pick which warehouse we want to raid from a list before loading into the warehouse.

everything you said is a posibility with maybe the exception of Vangelico opening for online as i notice R* doesn't like to involve areas/interiors from Story Mode into the Gta Online as GTA:O is a prequel so they are probably scared of retcons/illogical inconsistencies lol (Despite we had Humane Labs in Story and Online which to me was a reach because Humane should have had the ultimate security& Lock Down after what happened in Online but thats another long story).

 

as for the Headquarter locations i think you guys are on to something but i just hope the HQ"s interiors don't all look alike.

At release maybe, but updates to GTA O include technology that wasn't available in 2013, like the iFruit watch (Apple watch). Not to mention that holidays pass by, and over time as big updates release, the map does change. But Vangelico is there in GTA O. Its just not the enterable version. Rockstar doesn't want interiors from story mode because they think its a camping spot. That is their stupid reason. The real reason is that they are too stupid to realize that having the interiors would make Los Santos interesting and not dull. This is why I can't play the game without the Open Interiors mod.

 

I'll tell you right now that the interiors will look alike. It isn't confirmed, but it is Rockstar. It is possible that there may be multiple variations of it that are identical like the Stilt Houses, but they will probably all look alike.

lol true but i think Humane Labs have done more such as halting from having important toxins or other equipment within the facility and all chemical equipment that could be weaponized would have been transported away from that area like the nerve gas that we had to steal as michael. so that mission was kinda inconsistent in the story due to the prequel Online humane heist.

when jay norris brags about employing children and guy in radio commercials says that having your private data in a cloud where everyone has access to it is a good thing, you can't expect humane labs to raise their security or anything.

It will most likely be a fluid setting, locked in when you activate VIP mode. Think of it like Lester and his lady friend, when you start a heist he picks a safehouse and she sets it up.

 

When you start your VIP org, your assistant will "ready the HQ" by locating an appropriate building of a matching tier ("warehouse," "office," or "safehouse") and then opening it up for use. This allows for multiple locations each supporting a single VIP in whatever takeover mode comes with this update (ie, Piracy Prevention requires a yacht in a unique location, so will whatever the HQ takeover).

 

This means when your VIP allotment is done, the HQ will be torn down. It's not a property.

 

Notice the building that's been suggested contains a heli pad. I suspect that'll be an option on at least the highest tiered HQ option, and if there's a garage attached it will, at best, contain the same vehicles that are on your VIP Abilities list, nothing more. Again, it's not for "custom cars," and it's not for you to store your lowrider collection. It's a specific set of vehicles linked to your VIP HQ, just like how you have a specific set of vehicles linked to your VIP Abilities in the SecuroServ menu.

 

 

 

Disclaimer: It's just as likely that I'm wrong as I'm right, but common sense, programming limitations, and implied design direction all falls closer in line with my suggestions than the pipe dreams of people who think this'll work like a regular apartment and garage combo.

Im thinking the Lombank Building in del perro. I think its ur first pic. The angles line up nice, the columns between the windows are substantial like the pic theres 5 tall skinny window panes between columns, etc. ,

I'm liking this so far, it's getting me more pumped for the update. I think nkjellman is on the right track but might be too far northeast. When I get on tonight I'm going to try and give it my best shot to find the right building.

99% certain, that you're right on this one. If i recall correctly, it has an entrance & a big garage aswell.
