Man oh man finally Rockstar made a announcement! i guess i'm finally getting what i've (and many others i know) has been saying what they should do with Executives and other Crimanls part 2. having Headquarters, Trafficking, and True Organization Rivalry/Turfs.

Makes sense since an organisation is only temporary...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry..

After six months of pimp my ride, this is what's coming..

The financial and organization update sounds interesting as did eaoc. And it actually makes sense.

BUT stunts races.. STUNT RACES.. Are you serious R*? Out of all the ideas you chose this one and there's about a million ideas and suggestions already on this forum alone.

Some offroad things would have made sense, but the community races are full of these "stunt" races that don't make any sense in a game based like GTA.

That pic with the murica tube around maze tower says it all, as have many already said in this. What is that? What the f*ck is that?

Could have kept them in the community creator only, where 5 year olds can execute their playground sandbox fantasies all they want, not make them public.

If you give the community the keys to the kingdom it is guaranteed we will get bullsh*t like snipers and stunters and other nonsense that any, all and every single youtuber uses as the background instead of actual gameplay.

 

And the icing on the cake, more adversary modes.. Is anyone seriously playing these? I mean after the initial launch day or 2-3 tries.

I think just plain free roam with no goal or brains is more entertaining than adversary modes.

Seriously? We're looking at an update that will probably surpass Executives in gamechanging content and you're whining about stunt races? It's unimportant extra content. Extra content is always welcome, as long as it doesn't replace main updates (adversary modes between the last and this update).

It makes more sense for them to be ownable, both from R*'s wording and from the perspective of in-game mechanics One thing is for sure,the way the properties are handled Will either make the update or break it. But the idea of a warehouse you can actually own with maybe even a 15 to 20 car garage is very intresting Indeed.

Also is the most logical way from the greedy R* point of view. Spend some millions to own a warehouse and be able to do the new vip missions. If the HQ/warehouse is only available during vip work, bank accounts wouldn't be drained that fast.

But it wouldn't make sense to own them, because you wouldn't work from them when you're not a VIP/bodyguard. What would you actually do there then?

Also, how many HQ's do you think they'll add? What if you own one while you're not a VIP and another player who is a VIP owns the same property?

You would just own an inactive HQ while it's actually the HQ of an acitve VIP. And you just can't share a warehouse that would be attacked by rivals.

I think there will be the same amount of available HQ's/warehouses as the amount of organisations permissible per session. And you'll be assigned a random one, just like you're assigned a random color.

Don't get me wrong I want more properties as well but it seems like wishful thinking to me.

Oh yeah and i hope that if we have pre-selected vehicles to traffic drugs in, then i hope that sh*t is incredibly armored because all people may do is get in jets which i'm fine with as long as the vehicle is highly explosive resistant

Business ownership? Sounds like a glorified and more expensive series of escort missions. Im going to buy product,than I have to go get it and safely escort it back to my warehouse and Ill lose money for any damage it takes? Also curious to see the prices of the HQ,warehouses and product. I'm sure they will be pricey and the return not so great.

Just an idea, but do you think it'll work like the finalé of the Pac Standard job? The more bullets/rockets the opposing team unleash on the travelling merchandise, the less you get in the final haul - or maybe that amount will be transferred to the attacking team?

 

And I assume you'll have to leave someone at base (in the warehouse) to defend the remaining stash, or that'll go down as well.
