As for the update, I don't mind if they delay it a few weeks, early to mid June would be fine with me BUT it seems like it might be needed much sooner than that; so many of my friends have stopped playing, I'm either going to have to solo 85-90% or do, gasp, public missions.

As people point out, hists was delayed for nearly 2 years, and in that time they said numerous times "soon" and had to repeatedly push back. This is why you get "weeks and months ahead" and not a concrete date.

 

However, with that said, one of the updates is basically done (if not completely so). We know this because they would've have said sh*t if that wasn't the case, the other one is probably got all it's major work done at this point. There's also probably another dozen vehicles and adversary modes not linked to either update ready to be pushed out the door in the case of an emergency stoploss update or simply to be used as filler while Major Update 1 cools down and final preps are done for Major Update 2.

 

This stuff is all title updates to the current flagship product. Several portions of this company work together on releases, it doesn't just rely on Thom the 1st shift development supervior to hit an "upload now" button to get released.

I honestly used to hate the car until I bought it, upgraded it, and ran in it the pac stand heist lol. Little bastard is fun as hell, after a little learning curve on the handling. we ripped 2 panto's only lost 7 k haha.

This is for those who usually check this thread more than the future DLC discussion that's currently pinned at the top of this forum.

Zanthera and I decided to go take a look around and see if we could find an exact building that the headquarters could be and most likely will be in, and we did find something that was pretty close to this photo (Credit to Crysis Averted for this photo)

After some investigation, we managed to get a photo that closely resembled the angle of the building shown. Note that the buildings in the background also closely match those within the original newswire photo. (Credit to Zanthera for this photo)

If you look closely in the enhanced and zoomed in image Crysis had made, you can actually see the curve in the road, although it's fairly hard to spot. So, where is this headquarters at? Well, it's in a building that actually makes a lot of sense. The Maze Bank building.

From this building, while hovering in a helicopter, we were able to snap a photo of the other building featured in the newswire teaser of the Finance and Felony update. Here are some more photos of this building, which includes multiple garage entrances.

Our speculation is that your personal assistant is actually a corrupt bank employee who you pay with some of the funds gained through your activities. The personal assistant, as stated in the newswire, helps plan and manage your funds that you have gained, as well as drug deals. Due to Maze Bank being the bank that our GTA Online characters actually use to hold their funds, it would make sense to have a person in the finance sector from Maze Bank help in managing our Organizations funds and plans. This is pure speculation, but we are pretty confident in this speculation at the current moment.

Stunt races? Why? People barely can make it from Point A to B as is without going airborne in some form. But so far this year's DLC have all been sleepers or Benny

+1. I usually steer off from this kind of discussions, but i want to stand a bit up for him - he occassionally has good viewing angles on things, and can even deliver valid points. I very often disagree, but there is nothing wrong with that.

On the downside there is serious lack in social skills. Rude attitude, constant attacks, seems that he is constantly looking for a fight. Usually very negative attitude towards everything.

It'd be weird (unique?) to do DLC on a Friday so I'm now expecting it Tues 24th tbh, with a trailer/more info next Fri.

2014 Valentine day DLC was released on a friday.

Iirc there was another also released on a friday ( LTS ? ) but i cant remember now.

IIRC VDM content came with a previous DLC? It was just enabled that Friday.

Holiday Gifts, Valentine's Day Massacre, Independence Day Special, and Festive Surprise all came as their own updates. It wasn't until the Halloween Surprise that Rockstar added the holiday content in a previous update. Even then, none of the named updates have released on a Friday. (Valentine's Day was a Friday that year, but they released the content the day before. Which is why people think they update went live on Friday.)
