Why aren't there kids in GTA?

Just curious. No kids on the street, in the story, nothing at all. Pets and wildlife got added to the game recently but no kids.

It's not realistic sure, but GTA can live without kids. Got enough of them screaming down their mics at us anyway.

This. GTA's already been branded as having violence "especially against women" when in fact it's the complete f*cking opposite.

Nah but seriously, you'd be insane to think that R* haven't thought of adding kids in a game with weapons. It would be worst than the hot coffee controversy. Skyrim had kids and within weeks there were mods to kill them as they were unkillable. It would also be weird if you couldn't kill the kids (I know, that sounds bad) when the other peds in the game can be killed. It just wouldn't be worth it. If you want to run over kids, visit Newgrounds.

they dont need have kid NPCs, we got the real deal haha

 

seriouly yesterday i was playing and there was this kid that sounded like he was 5, dont get why parents let their kids play this game at such short age, on top of that they allow them to use mics.

 

i had no choice but to kill the little kid, he started to cry, minutes later an adult told me i was an asshole and left the game.

 

later i received a nice message on psn calling me immature and irresponsible for abusing a little kid.

 

my reply.

 

"irresponsable...because it was me the one that allowed that little kid to play an adults game like gta!"

I have noticed in other games that you can kill everyone, that the kids are the only ones you can't.

I remember in Fallout - new vegas, that you could kill virtually everyone in game, except some annoying kids on the outskirts of the city.

Because for some bullsh*t reason we can't kill kids in videogames because parents get their panties in a twist.

 

And honestly I DON'T want kids ever in GTA. Because they'd be the only unkillable thing like in Bethesda games.

Why do you think? It's because parents don't want to see us going around shooting, stabing, hitting, or killing the kids. Parents would go ape-sh*t and sue the f*ck out of Rockstar. That's why in games like Fallout and TES the children are completely invincible. And GTA is already in the middle of a whole sh*t-ton of controversy as it is.

It's not that there are no kids, it's the parents in LS don't let them outside ever, with good reason. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Only kids you can kill are the little Spanards on thier mics. As above though you just cant put kids in a game where they could get some violence on them. Yes all adults are just kids with a few extra years on them but thats how it is.
