GTA V audio stuttering, unplayable

this only happened recently, but when i load up gta i have audio on the initial loading screen with the blurred cop cars but then after the menu and the loading after that, i have audio for about 1 second then silence for 3, then audio for 1 and silence for 3 etc. when i do finally load in i have the same issue but my fps follows the same trend, frozen for 3 seconds then 60 fps for 1... but on the loading screens i have a solid 60 fps just with the audio stuttering its only when i load in that i have the fps stuttering too.

I experience same sh*t frequently, usually after playing with intense settings or after switching directx version. I wonder if Mute Audio On Focus Loss settings has anything to do with it, when I turn it on it seems to make audio a little more stable but audio still disappears regardless whether this setting is on or off.

 

Try lowering graphics settings and avoid Self Radio.

try to set 16 bit 44.1 khz (or 48), or 24 bit 44.1 khz (or 48), don't use others
