Rare spawned vehicles de-valued?

Last night I set out to spawn Dubsta 2's to sell. Found my first one and took it to LSC. I noticed that the selling price decreased from 23k to 19k. Also, the rare blue Dominator's price decreased from 19.9k to 17k. Has anyone else noticed this devaluation? Did I miss a R* announcement or a changelog regarding this?

Yes, when lsc mods are on sale the resultant parts drop even for spawn cars. Blue Sultans are down to 16K.

Yep, sale value is merely a %age of buy price, so they change together.

This is the same thing that happened the last time there was a week of discounted part at LS Customs. Because the parts' base cost is discounted, this proportionally affects the resale value they add to a car they are applied if you go to sell that car during the time the cost is discounted.

 

This applies to NPC modded vehicles as well, particularly the rare high value ones which rely on the mods applied to them to achieve a higher resale value. This means that while the discounted prices are in effect, the modded blue/yellow sandkings, sentinels, Dubsta 2s, and any other NPC-modded vehicle will sell for less than usual until mod prices go back to normal.
