I've bookmarked blow up 2 and a few others, but when i look at my bookmarked jobs, they don't appear....am i doing something wrong?

I believe you can bookmark them (or at least some), but they won't appear in your bookmarks. Probably the same reason they were removed from playlists. Why would you want to bookmark it if it's already listed under missions?

Yeah this is part of the game that was never finished. I'm sure they will get to it.... It's only been 3 years.

Bookmarking contact missions in game doesn't work for me either (on PC) but one of my old friends said he was able to do it on the Social Club site when I played on PS3. I'm not even sure how it would benefit us to bookmark them since we can't make a playlist of contact missions

I think there was a specific update (I think high life update) that removed the ability to bookmark contact jobs from Gerald,Martin,Etc. But the feature of bookmarking jobs has not worked for me since march2015 for contact jobs.

 

It was around the same time they removed sevral missions, including nerfing rooftop rumble and removing a few of the contact missions people kept farming.

I forgot the name of the 2nd most popular farmed contact job after rooftop but OG players will remember the name, stole cargobob down a hill, deliver the container and takes like 2mins to finish.

 

There were also modded vs jobs that payed hundreds of thousands per match that was accessible only through book marking.

 

can anyone confirm if we can still bookjob contacts jobs or not?

Coveted, and it's heavily beefed up now.

The cargobob only takes 3 bullets before backfiring and you have a chopper chasing you from about the wind farm all the way to the city. Plus now there's a timer.

 

When the cargobobs hook was broken it was actually impossible to complete.

 

Near impossible on your own due to the fact that chopper spawns now.

Coveted, and it's heavily beefed up now.

just have to get in the Cargobob asap (if/when it lands) then get out and wait for the chopper to come. It's a buggy mission though (on PC at least), sometimes the last enemies don't spawn, sometimes that chopper just stays put once it spawns, sometimes the Cargobob takes forever to land.

 

Seemed much less buggy back in the day. I used to really like that one, everyone sniping in a line was a nice change from just plowing in Kurumas as soon as the mission starts.

Contact missions given by lester,Trevor,etc. Thanks for testing it out but on ps4 it does not work for me or I'm doing it wrong.

Bookmarking missions would make it easier to find your favorite ones. It takes a while looking through a long list of missions to find one you want to play.

I know of a couple of ways to test out.

 

Via the in game menu

 

Online->Jobs->Missions->All Missions->Selected/Highlighted Mission->Bookmark Job.

 

For me its the X button.

 

Another way is to bookmark it after the job is complete but before Like/Dislike.

 

Once bookmarked you should be able to cycle through them on the map. You coulx setup a playlist with your faves lined up.

yes, bookmarked missions wont show up on the list anymore.

 

but like... if you go to its physical start location, you can trigger it in the gold ring that it makes due to it being bookmarked.

 

like i do for crystal clear out 3. i can justb ounce between 3 and 2 respectively all day if i wanted to.

 

boring as hell and wont do it, but i could.

I've got a CCO3 bookmark as well that I can trigger, which carried forward to XB1 when I moved from 360 along with several playlists with missions and races in combinations that can't be done anymore. Not sure if any of the stuff originally used to get these onto the older systems still works, as I haven't tried it. While the bookmarked job won't appear in the job menu it can be started by going to the map screen, selecting the icon for it on the map, and starting from there.

 

It's also worth noting that by starting CCO3 you can reliably access several other non-contact missions from the voting screen, such as CCO2, Factory Closure, Coasting, and Coveted, which otherwise are near impossible to play normally.

which is exactly why i said i could grind between them. as it always shows up.
