[C#] Dispatch on Peds, various other things

Hello there,

 

I have recently started modding my GTA V since I only play SP anyway and I felt annoyed that my customized cars kept getting lost.

 

So far I have accumulated several questions:

 

1) What is the best way to dispatch police on a pedestrian? I was not able to find a Native for that, so I assume there is none or it is still not discovered. I am aware that the Ped chases within the vanilla are scripted, however with the LSPDFR mod police is being dispatched towards pedestrians, even though you choose the dispatched entities.

So what is the most senseful way to go about it? As of now I assume it is spawning police Peds and Cars one by one and sending them to a destination. But I cannot get around but feeling idiotic doing it like this, since the game already has a way more elegant way to dispatch, but it accepts only Player handles, not Ped handles.

 

2) Since I am at the stage of attempting to spawn police "manually", what is up with Tasks? I was trying to make an amok-event. I did in the end, but I wasted a ton of hours on Tasks. No matter if checked on tick and utilizing a variety of conditions, Peds don't seem to stick to Tasks for me. Attributes such as:

ped.CanSwitchWeapons = false;
amok.AlwaysKeepTask = true;

 

seem to be completely ignored. The Ped I assigned them to still switched weapons after a few seconds and did whatever the hell they wanted, even though Tasks were assigned. It did not seem to matter if I used Task or TaskSequence. So in the end I was able to achieve what I wanted using

 

SET_RELATIONSHIP_BETWEEN_GROUPS

 

but since I want cops to respond to crimes I seem to be forced to use Tasks. What would you guys say is the best way to go about cops being sent to arrest/shoot a Ped?

 

3) How to make cops ignore you when shooting a certain target? I have set relationships to Companion, however it did not seem to matter, I must have made a mistake.

 

4) Do red blips auto-appear above the heads of enemies/certai groups? My amok-Ped did have it at some point, while I was still experimenting with Tasks, but I was not able to figure out what it was or how to reproduce it. I never manually touched blips, but I assume there are built in triggers, like with gang members.

 

5) Does anyone know what START_FIRING_AMNESTY does?

Thanks in advance. I assume I am getting some concepts wrong. I've been looking into GTA modding and ScriptHook for about a week now, but without documentation I feel I am wasting a ton of time on things other people have already figured out.
