@trip I remember back in 2013 when gta 5 came out. I was walking to work thinking about playing it after work and wasn't concentrating. I had the sun in my face (evening winter or autumn sun) so couldn't see properly and next thing I knew I tripped on the curb and chipped half of one of my big teeth on the pavement. My face literally went numb but I could feel the pressure. Surprised I didn't knock myself out. Had to miss work but went in the next day with a big arse swollen lip. I'm glad I didn't land on my face again. I literally used all my strength to avoid tripping but it tired me out.

Well, no, it wasn’t that. I remember it was back when Pokemon Black was first announced, reading up any info I could find about it, but I then stumbled on the creepypasta of the same name.

 

It was a video format telling it through text, with images of sprites and screenshots, and the Lavender Town theme played in the background.

Oh yeah the ghost killing Red one, I remember this lol. Could be wrong but I remember Jwittz or someone talking about this as well, struck me as creepy but guess the Lavender copypasta spooked me more

 

As an aside Black and White are my absolute favourites in the series, I just love Unova in general tbh whether it's the pokemon, team Plasma, the brilliant climax, the soundtrack and even the region itself though linear I really liked regardless

My bank needs a refresher on incentives, I just got an email from them accounting a new type of saving account so I opened it up to see what it was all about then started cracking up...

 

If you open the saving account and depositing $10,000 or more within 30 days and not touch it for 60 they'll give you a WHOLE $100 for opening up the account I'm sure people are scrambling to open that account.

 

I got $500 just for opening a checking account with them a few years ago and deposted nothing close to $10,000

Woke up this morning, tried to get my coffee ready like I always do, and I noticed the coffeemaker shimmering in the dim morning light as I went to put in water. I turned a light on to find that hundreds and hundreds of ants had infested my coffeemaker overnight. Was the weirdest thing, Ive never seen so many ants all at once before. I like ants and Im usually always nice to them, and I try not to kill them but that was ridiculous.  It felt like no good deed goes unpunished. I sprayed off the coffeemaker with the hose outside and now it doesnt seem to work anymore.

Weird question, I know, but I witnessed something peculiar that may or may not relate to said question.

Pajama women in public, absolute weapons lad, "Cookie Monster, " pajama bottoms seem to be very popular among them, you'd see them out shopping sometimes, making a statement, look at me, I don't care, i'm wearing pajamas, but yet they're plastered in make-up, hoping you'll give them a second look so they can start a fight, it's a whole uniform, there's the badly dyed blonde hair with more roots that a veg shop, so much fake tan and make up they look like oompa loompas, hoop ear-rings my dog could jump through, then there's the nails, or more like talons, these long sharp things that would make Wolverine blush, festooned with more glitter and jewels than Sadan Husseins toilet. And they all seem to have hearing problems judging by all the shouting they do at each other, with a herd of children running free, like Tescos is a playground.

Depends on the type of tea. I dislike Earl Gray for example but green tea and fruit tea is good stuff.

I don't like any kind of tea hot or regular iced tea...Now i can tolerate Raspberry Iced Tea but if I had a choice I wouldn't drink it.

Coffee is a bad flavour and anybody that thinks otherwise is trying to deceive either themselves or somebody else. The only reason coffee wakes people up in the morning is because it tastes so bad that you can help but rouse and recognise how awful it is. There's a reason why coffee has so many options and accoutrements on offer. If you have to add four or five things to something to make it good, you've missed the point entirely. If anybody wants to attack me for this opinion, you're entirely too late - I've already died on this hill.

 I'm partial to a latte, flavoured with vanilla or hazelnut, on these cold days walking down the street with this warm brew heating you up, it's like the nectar of the gods. I think black coffee is a bit marmite, not for everybody, but I like it.

The idea of walking down the street with a hot drink sounds like a scene straight from a kino flick in the early 90s but in practice I imagine it would be quite awkward. It's like the meme of the kid running to school with toast in his mouth. We all like to romanticise moments of practical urgency but really it's just a massive pain in the arse. Either have a drink before you leave or have one when you get there. Your life is not important enough to warrant having a hot drink on the go.

Well, in that case there are two options - you could either opt for a standard issue paper straw which will have like disintegrated by the time you've rattled off your pretentious drinks order, or a metal one, which has the disadvantage of having to funnel piping hot coffee into your mouth. You don't need to be a science supply teacher to know why hot liquids and metal don't mix, but if you're in a position where you're running for a train with a scalding cup of soil you might well be a science supply teacher.
