I've been drinking a lot of sparkling water lately but I'll be damned if it isn't making me fart a lot more.

Use Fores New Idles (FNIS). Unless you're using 360 movement behaviour it's much more seamless and refined for most animation mods.

Not if you have Combat Gameplay Overhaul. Besides, I hate FNIS because reasons. Even I don't know why I hate it

Apparently even after getting the "missing files" issue fixed I still can't open/launch neither Nemesis or even Nifskope 2.0, the f*ck?

Trust me on this one.  Honest...  I really only buy gadgets that I think I'll use for the long haul.  For instance; I can't live without my foodsaver.   We must be on our 3rd or 4th one.

Anyway.  Get a Soda Stream.   I'm not kidding.  I just refilled 2 canisters of Co2 today.  It costs around $15 to refill a canister and a canister lasts me a couple of months.

I live on sparking water.  Plus I make a super good homemade ginger ale.  Really...sparking water is great for everything.  Fill a glass and just toss in a splash of juice and there you have it...a super healthy soda.

Serious.  Spend the 70 bucks for the starter kit and you'll be happy.

I have been thinking about it, honestly. I was reminded of such devices when I was listening to a podcast of all things and remembered the Soda Stream movement that happened here in the UK briefly. I've slowly been buying more and more bottles and most people could do with drinking more water, myself included. My wife hates the stuff, she says it tastes like television static.

I will look into buying one though, I think it'd be a sound investment. Better than that coffee pod machine thing she bought was anyway, it went the same way most kitchen gadgets go - used daily for about two weeks before being neglected completely.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why people dislike it. I don't tend to drink fizzy drinks as a rule, though I might treat myself to the occasional Dr. Pepper. The thing about sparkling water is it is only lightly carbonated, which suits me fine. I'm not able to burp, at least not on purpose, I must burp about four or five times a year and it's usually by complete accident. I've never been able to burp, so any trapped gas usually stays there until my body decides to do something with it or it makes a gentle journey to my anus.

I'm not a soda drinker.  I stopped all (chain) fast food and soda when I was 12 for a combo of reasons (a 12 year old might come up with).   I say I'm not a soda drinker but aside from my ginger ale I occasionally make a cherry syrup, and a vanilla syrup.   The thing is I get to control the sugar and what not.  When I taste a Canada Dry Ginger Ale it tastes like pure sugary syrup...totally gross.

Water is good for you and jazzing it up with bubbles makes it seem special.  Toss in some natural flavors and...tadah!

Oh oh oh...and with a soda stream you get to control how much carbonation.

How can anyone not like carbonated drinks?  And unflavored carbonated water?  It's not like an offensive tonic water or something.  It's just water!

*honest - seriously proud of my (took years to perfect)  ginger ale recipe and have been tempted to make a yt of it.

I got a sodastream I don't use. I bought the cherry cola syrup that sh*t tasted gross never again. Maybe it was because I used tap water instead of filtered water.

I like carbonated drinks, just not plain, unflavoured carbonated water. It's like a bizzarre bitter/sour taste to me. If you mix in some fruit juice then it's enjoyable. I've not had a coke or anything else sugary for years.

I can drink plain seltzer water no problem I just have to be in the mood for it.

It was because you used a gross ass syrup trying to replicate a "soda" is my guess.

Honest - sodastream up a bottle of regular water and toss in a splash (and I mean small splash) of real orange juice, grape juice, cranberry...you get the idea.  Always by the glass.  Never mix anything in your bottles...keep them clean and free.

We live on spring water here but I use a brita filter and tap water for "my" water.

What is it that you find disgusting about it? Genuine question.  I have been drinking carbonated mineral water all my life because, well, that is the most widely available stuff.

So I went to the tailor just this evening with three dresses; one blue, one white, one red. After arranging them on his work table, I took the opportunity of making a joke by asking him to make me the flag of France.

He just looked at me confused, so I took a second attempt to explain I wanted him to bind these dresses into a flag, gently waving my finger in a sequence, from over the blue dress and towards the red one. Alas, he was still confused, so I just told him what I really wanted and left.

This is why I rarely make jokes, or be in the mood to hear one.

Oh yea I see. You could have been drinking something weird if you find it sour but maybe it's just your tastebuds. No arguments from me.

My cleaning line manager sent me reusable cleaning gloves instead of disposable ones during a pandemic. Also sent me big bottles of cleaning stuff but no pump so they're useless in less I can open up the smaller ones to put it in (I use the smaller ones to fill up the spray bottles and the mop buckets and you turn the nozzle to set the measurement for either spray bottle or mopping. They're locked by a plastic fastening so I doubt I can open them). I'm close to quitting. Also the staff decided to spend an hour in the kitchen having a brew just as I started cleaning it. I hate my job.

Does anyone else have random words they never use pop into their head for no reason? I was at work cleaning and suddenly the word repudiate popped into my head. Can't even remember where I heard it.

If by "random" you mean "random ghittish that isn't an actual word but rather a mishmash of random letters scrambled together", then yes. All the time, every time. But OF COURSE none of them pop in my head right now. Because OF COURSE.

It kind of happens to me too once in a while, sometimes without being aware of it I end up muttering those words/phrases repeatedly until I realize what I'm doing,

For example I don't speak Spanish but I once found myself muttering what I thought to be gibberish but was actually an abusive Spanish phrase towards one's mother. I don't even know where I picked that up but when I randomly google searched it to see if it was an actual phrase, to my surprise it was.

I read it happens when you're doing something out of habit and your mind wanders, and I have a set routine when I clean at work which I don't change in less I'm forced to. Also read it's linked to ADHD and schizophrenia*.

*wouldn't be surprised if I had that really. This year's got my head real f*cked up more than usual. Doesn't help with having ocd with washing my hands and other things.

Surprisingly recent too. Just going to assume any earlier accounts were deleted, as I don't believe someone wouldn't have used this name since 2001.

I take that up to eleven by saying some of the random words that come to mind out loud, as long as I'm certain about being alone.

This is morbid but I've been musing about the concept of death the last few minutes or so (and just for clarity sake I'm not suicidal or anything but just in a contemplative mood I suppose) and the finality of it all, it really gets to me. Like, all that I'm experiencing right now, once I die I'll never be able to experience any of it again and just nothingness; man that sucks, that really sucks.

I know some people have a more practical approach to passing and it doesn't disturb them as such, hell I've heard the philosophy 'I hope I die before I get old' but I just can't relate to that at all, I hope I live till freaking 100 lmao. Of course it's not gonna be good living that long if you're suffering from ailments and stuff and there probably are worse fates than death like being comatose or fully paralyzed, that's horrible; but otherwise it's a bit scary to me that one day I or even my loved ones are going to depart forever. I absolutely hope I don't end up jinxing myself here but I have been extremely fortunate not to see the bereavement of a close one but I've been thinking of that inevitability and tbh I don't know how I will take it when that moment comes, scary to think about

I guess living life pointlessly from one day to another can also suck and that sort of is me right now lmao, but I still want to live as long as possible and as healthy as possible, it sucks that one day I'm gonna depart and ngl I kinda hope this isn't the end. I used to believe in the afterlife when I was younger but I've grown somewhat more cynical since and while I wouldn't call myself an atheist tbh, I'm not devout enough either to console myself solely on faith on these matters.

At the very least I hope my death and that of my loved ones will be as painless as possible. Normally don't think bout all this but I have a lot of idle time haha and yeah thought I'd express some of what was going through my head here

@Utopianthumbs I am partial to the idea of reincarnation - It's definitely how you perceive the world I think. I know a couple of people who dislike the idea of an afterlife because they see death as retirement from life but I've always been the kind of person to ponder how I would act in another life or in different circumstances. I like life and I like living.

The scary thing about that though is the luggage that you leave behind.  I'm likely the person I am because of the socioeconomic circumstances surrounding my upbringing as well as the education and work experience I have. Without that it's difficult to even call me the same person as I would have had different life experiences in addition to a different lifestyle that would've likely formed me into a different character entirely.

One element that does give me a jump of fear is actually making it to a ripe old age. I've seen enough old people to know that it's lonely being old, especially if your partner passes away before you do. I guess once that happens, the winters really do seem much colder.

I don't know what to think of reincarnation to be honest. To me it is both an exciting and scary concept at the same time. All things considered if it is possible I guess I wouldn't mind getting reincarnated as I would like to see our future, to see us colonize space and overcome disease if we can but more importantly because I don't want that nothingness, the fact that I won't perceive anything ever if I die is very disturbing to me

But even if reincarnation is true, what is the nature of it, like what if you get reincarnated as an animal lol, I know I want to experience life as much as possible but as an animal or insect? It confuses me, and even human life is filled with dangers so while I would like to live a long time, say we have multiple human lives doesn't the probability of encountering a horrible situation increase, and I dont want that either.

Don't get me wrong though I share your views for the most part, just thinking whether reincarnation would be good or not but all things considered I don't want to end so I hope (even if it's foolish and illogical) that we go on beyond our current existence, but then I don't know if that is overall good or bad, what I know is that death disturbs me too much, so if reincarnation is the alternative then hopefully it can be true.

But tbh I don't have that strong a belief as I used to in these concepts, idk why but much as I prefer to believe the opposite, current me thinks death has a finality to it ( I say current me cause my thought processes/beliefs are way different to before and may be so in future too). Or at least I'm not finding myself so easily consoled by the hope that an afterlife exists, because I can't perceive such things so it seems surreal to me unlike death which feels very real. I like your optimism tbh and I hope there's more than this but at the very least I hope I go painlessly with little regrets I guess

Ah the fear of loneliness, it's something I am acutely aware of haha. Tbh dying alone doesn't bother me as much as living the rest of my life without a partner, and while it bothers me on some days , on most days I'm resigned to it. I don't mind living long even if it's lonely as long as it doesn't feel hellish cause I would still prefer it to death I think(though I haven't particularly experienced loneliness that strongly as yet so don't know how it would be if I do, and obviously it's way different when you are old).

Thanks for reading my mostly incoherent ramble, I like discussing stuff like this even if I sound like a bullsh*t pseudo philosopher lmao
